Randy Franzmeier I’m curious: Why does the Low Church tradition still frown on the Ancient Iconographic practice yet would generally approve of what is, essentially, an animated icon?

@@eldermillennial8330 2 reasons. 1. At the beginning of this video it is made clear that these are not icons for worship etc. and 2. Iconographic practices do direct worship towards these images. “You shall not make for yourself a carved image, or any likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or that is on the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth. 9 You shall not bow down to them or serve them; for I the Lord your God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers on the children to the third and fourth generation of those who hate me,” (Deuteronomy 5:8-9)

I’m glad to hear it, Richard. Yes, the hope in this animation was to show John 8:28 as the synthesizing element between Isaiah 6:1 and 52:13 (as well as the constellation of themes and passages associated with the unique glory of the God of Israel that Isaiah so emphasizes).
