I’ve loved this song since I was about 19. I just wish I would’ve listened and Followed his instructions instead of just listen to the beauty of the song. Now I’m paying for it. Thanks for trying to tell me Terence.
Beautiful song, beautifully written. Lovely rendition. George Michael's is also great. Always loved TTD's voice since wishing well and his cover of What a wonderful world it would be
I'd been looking for this song with lyrics forever!! I remember hearing it back when I was a teenager, and until Google and RU-vid came about, I wasn't able to find it! Not many people know about this fantastic song. Muchas gracias!!! :)
Respect for the songwriting, but my god ... I would not have known how beautiful this song is without hearing GM's cover. His cover is exquisite. You can feel the depth of love, anxiety, resignation and acceptance of what must be. And his video is a black and white work of art, capturing the beauty and hope of youth. Someone here commented that GM ruined the song. I'm truly baffled. In any case, taste is subjective but respect shouldn't be.
Sally Hu Sally Hu I couldn’t have said it better than you did. George Michael was one of a kind. He certainly had an ear for choosing a song and turning it into pure magic.
George did an excellent job. He and TTD were good friends. I think he did an excellent job with this song. And such emotion! I also say, my god, what a beautiful song. Love my Yog no matter what he sang but this one is tops.
@@sherrilew792 Indeed. I have no taste because I don't believe someone did a good job with a song just because he's now dead. "Love my Yog". George Michael was great. It almost hurts when I think dumb (or maybe deaf?) people like you are his fans.
This song is truly amazing but i heard a version that had a man saying her father adores her can't remember the rest the pearls are Gorgeous i wud have dem 2 cover my breast as well but beautiful
I’m so torn with who sings this better, Terrance or George Michael...George owns my heart, but Terance is singing from a place of sorrow that you can feel. Don’t get me wrong now, George slays this song and every other cover he decides to do becomes his own. But this..oofff a toss up 2021 🕊🥀
Exactly so... In fact it was a personal experience that inspired him to write the song (he mentioned this in an interview) therefore he was literally singing from his soul... The music in did him dirty too
Only real musicians know that there’s 2 version of this song but most don’t know because he almost sung it the exact same way except for few parts changed very subtle 😎
