We finally have some big news about what is going on with deathverse, and it turns out the future of Let It Die has less to do with deathverse and more to do with “the third installment in the Let It Die series”.... That sounds like a third game to me, let's get into it….

The only bad thing about stuff from japan is that devs are notoriously cryptic. Thier company could be planning a nuclear terror attack and the most youll get out of the devs is, "Heh, well players are going to have a blast with this new feature."

Got 1K hours in let it die and always wanted a coop climb in LiD with stronger, more clever AI. If this is going to be it, im all in for that, would love to play with several people who also love the game.

@@antviper135 Dude, So sorry, It ended 2 days ago. The event was 3 free continues a day, quests that rewarded any faction metal and repeatable, 3x bloodnium drop rate, Free Dustin bin use, Ultimate Fighter Returns Decal which increases all stats by 20% and hasn't been in the game in 2 years, and a bunch of other stuff. It was an insane event that boosted my progress by months. It was an insane progress boost. It made the game really fun. I got so many items upgraded and uncapped which made the game way more fun even after the event ended. PS, That ultimate fighter returns decal makes a huge noticable difference. You can instantly notice running longer and critting more. The life boost is sweet. I love that decal.

They don't NEED to make a whole-ass sequel to LiD - just improve the current game now; case-in-point: the new Neo DOD floors. Add on WE, CW, MILK, add co-op, Floor 100 elevator, some extra features later on and BAM! You're gold.

@@Torric2K8 That'd be cool too but this new game provides new opportunities for different systems and content. I'm hoping it's gonna be like let it die but new floors, weapons, co-op and an optional PvP mode. It seems pretty obvious to me that let it die might be not be making enough money so a third game that attracts both playerbases seems like a good idea. The problem is I don't know if the devs even know WHY people like let it die. They mentioned "hack and slash elements" which is vague but most let it die players like grinding for upgrades then having hard content to use it on.

I'm really pessimistic for this new game. It sounds like they're just making a PvP game which has a solo mode with bots option. I'm hoping for something with single player content like let it die but with an (optional) multiplayer like deathverse but also with TDM. The fact this started as a remake for deathverse makes me think it's just going to be solo PvP content. Also I don't think the devs understand WHY people like let it die. The progression is grindy but kind of a fun grind like runescape. I didn't play deathverse but afaik it didn't have any of those features in the gameplay loop which is why most let it die fans dropped it.
