Pits on the high floors (above f250) are some of the most challenging content in the game. After experiencing them quite a lot now, I understand how to deal with them.
Pre-shroom hard, focus on momentum - the longer you can prevent multiple spawns the better it will be. Perfect your timing. If in doubt, use any shrooms you need to survive, don't try to save them. Finally, motorcycle rage can get you out of some nasty situations and keep you alive.
