Thanks! :D In my opinion China did a wonderful work with Frozen ^^ Anyway I can tell you what I know: "Mandarin" is also named "Putonghua" and it's the official language in China (Taiwan, Malaysia, Singapore) "Cantonese" is one of the main groups of Chinese dialects. It is mainly spoken in the south-eastern part of mainland China, Hong Kong, Macao. "Taiwanese Mandarin" is the Hokkien dialect of Min Nan language (one of the varieties of Chinese) spoken by about 70% of the population of Taiwan. Overall I know this... I decided to call the video "multilanguage" because in my opinion if a language has an official dub (especially with Disney) it is an official language. I know about the situation of the various dialects of China but I know also that a lot of them are doing claims for the recognition as a language...

Francesco Petrucci There is a Hokkien dialect, but that's not what they're speaking in the Taiwanese dub. They use standard Mandarin, so it is the exact same language. That's why I think the old method of calling it Mandarin and Putonghua is better :)

A little correction to this, Taiwanese Mandarin and Mainland Mandarin (Putonghua) are essentially the same language yes, but there are some terminologies specific to each type, some with a slightly different pronunciation, and Taiwanese Mandarin is written in traditional characters rather than the simplified. Thus, although far closer to Mainland Mandarin than most, Taiwanese Mandarin is still considered to be a dialect as well. :)

Cantonese is one of the official language of Hong kong and is the one closest to ancient chinese that Disney dubbed .
