You never fail to disappoint. Your videos always resignate with my artistic being. I'm currently in a creative slump you're helping me get through it! Also great reference to dark night of the soul....a very underrated poem. :)

Jimi , I find your videos really quite relaxing to listen to. You speak from a place I recognize only too well. There’s something really cool about your approach . Thanks for the content. I keep feeling like reaching out. Actually it just occurred to me, my songs are often all about exactly what your channel discusses, at times. As my 30’s came I wrote an album, We Got Old. It’s all about letting go of those dreams. I became a parent too. Now my 30’s are behind me too. I find myself wondering how to either create the next batch of songs, or go back and record the several album’s worth of lost material. I live off music over here in the uk. But in all the ways other than what I dreamed of. I wonder if others type comments to you with the eerie, reflective backdrop of your video adding poignancy as they type their words, ha ha. I appreciate your content. You’ve inspired me a little as I think about reimagining how I share what I do. I’m mainly focusing on my vocal teaching channel, singingmatterscalder, for now as the art has, once again taken a back seat. But a new album of reflective songs, coming from a leap beyond We Got Old is brewing . I wish you well and I hope your art still serves you and anyone who finds it . ❤

Ahh man I'm so glad to hear that. It truly brings me joy. Thanks for sharing. The more I grow the channel the more I see the commonality between the stories of the artists who comment on the videos. It's really cool to hear from everyone. Everyone's out there having their own relationship with art and commerce, fighting the fight, learning and growing. It gives me deep affection for people. @@jimiwmusic yeah man! It’s absolutely the experience of so many musicians. Your content is really cool. Very well written and the scripted approach really works and comes across great. I don’t really do anything with this channel anymore but may relaunch something different. My songs We Got Old, I Guess I Made It are so relevant to this story we share! Instead of feeling like my career was over I flipped it and wrote about that subject with the aim of appealing to middle age people. Too much music is aimed at youth. Great to have your response 😊 Good luck with the channel.

So much to say, but at least you are an great writer or have the potential to be one! Not being illusionary successfully could be the best thing ever happen to us. Just look all these so called mainstream successfully artists......I didn't see they contribute anything positive to the current humanity. I didn't see they get a extremely happy life because of it. As a matter of fact, they seems all tragically unhappy. Time gone by, nobody remembers who Tyler Swift was, but people remember Sanit Teresa, Gandhi and Nelson Mandela
