@@westcoastbred7745 People take time to warm their lash curlers. What's the difference if you take time to warm your concealer? You take the time to do what is important to you.
She forgot to mention to hydrate and prep your skin really well. You guys don’t understand how crucial that step is. Doesn’t matter what technique you use, applying makeup especially foundation and counselor on dry skin is setting yourself up for failure.
@gianna3852 how do you know “we” do t understand how crucial moisturizing and prepping our skin is? Are we all new to having skin and your a master level skin owner? 😂😂 Get over yourself
Actually, the real secret is to prep skin with the right skin type product first, not everyone has the same skin type, just saying as a professional makeup artist!! ❤

I’ve never gotten into makeup because i never understood what is what and that left me feeling overwhelmed. You breaking steps up so that your audience can understand how things should be applied and why is super helpful. You make makeup look fun and doable. Thank you.
Honestly, I just need tips on how to keep powder from going everywhere, causing constantly needing to clean before leaving for somewhere, and how you store all your makeup with it still being accessible. Those are my biggest makeup struggles right now!
Keep the plastic tab that covers the powder holes in place and pierce a few of the holes instead of peeling it straight off. It reduces the flow of the powder into the pot.
@@YFBullock it’s not so much that - I pour some into the lid to keep the amount lower and dip in that - it’s just that all these products get everywhere during application and I need organization tips! Ty
i think the video is compressed because it was originally posted to tiktok, but i tried the tips irl and can confirm she's right (at least it looked better for me)
I'm an oily skin girly so baking is the only way I can minimize looking like a disco ball at the end of the day but i usually wipe off the rest after I finish doing my eyes and it usually works out for me! I have forgotten to wipe it off though lmaooo
You can try using no-sebum powder to absorb the excess sebum/shine. Some korean brands have this, like Innisfree and Etude House Also, volcanic roller ball. Though not as long-lasting as no-sebum powder, you can use it on top of your sunscreen/makeup
What also helps is use less foundation and less concealer. I know we have the urge to cover up imperfections, no matter if they are normal and healthy things that happen to us. But less is better. The more you put on the more noticable it becomes. I have started using only concealer and only put on a thin layer on my face and some spota have no make up at all i just blend it out now. So much better than what i used to do
These are good tips! I also heard it’s good to use the puff part that has no product and even gently remove any extra powder, I’ve tried that on top of these tips and it’s even better. 😊
Same! Don't listen to people, I've been wearing makeup for 2 years now and as time goes on I become more and more aware that my own face is full of imperfections and I can learn how to make up better for the imperfections on my face. Do this for yourself.
I find putting it lower may be all you need to do - light doesn’t hit the inner corners or the outer corners, the darkness is lower and closer to the upper cheek.
Wow okay, I’ll try this, because my makeup in general, just looks cakey, but that’s also because I can’t find a good primer other than elf power grip and I haven’t been able to find that in my local stores in a long time, so I should just order
I've also learned to not apply directly on the face!! Warm it up on the back of your hand and I promise, you need wayyyyy less than what was used. If you apply it correctly then it'll have really nice coverage :)
also, don’t rush !! let your concealer sit a bit and self set before you blast it with any powder, let it crease and move, and then blend out the creasing with a brush, then set it with powder, it’ll last so much longer as well.
This is great advice! Especially for a Middle Aged woman like myself. Recently I struggle with the concealer setting in my fine lines. Now I know the trick 🫶🏽
You're approroach is pretty good. This is what I like to do and it helps. I highlight the crease that is one shade lighter than my foundation. Only apply 3 dots. For the puffy area, I use a concealer that is the same shade as my foundation for the puffy area. The trick is to bring out the shadow, not the puffy area.or it will highlight the whole under eye and not in a good way. Hope this tip helps 😊
