Let's active, live in the Whistle Test studio June 24th 1986. I recorded this on a Sony C6 Betamax VCR, using Sony video tape. By chance I recorded the full show, other guests were Martin Stephenson and the daintees, Suzanne Vega, Stevie Winwood and The House Martins

Mitch signed all my stuff last year. I miss those days when music was really good and exciting. Underrated band for sure.

Fantastic, it's amazing this exists so we can appreciate it. Mitch is such a fluid and creative guitarist, and gifted pop craftsman. Big Plans for Everybody is a great record, end to end.

RU-vid is great for finding rare videos, but sometimes people should just not upload stuff if its close to unwatchable. Anyway, glad you enjoyed this and theres more more rare shows from Lets Active on the way

I also recorded this show back in the day. Maybe for the Housemartins, possibly for Suzanne Vega. I ended up buying the album this track appeared on. And every album by Martin Stephenson. Thanks so much for posting this. Great job on the transfer; excellent quality.

@@ScottishTeeVee I've subscribed too. I'd be very grateful if you could post the Martin Stephenson tracks. Even now I can remember he played Look Down, Look Down early on and then Tribute to Late Rev Gary Davis and Crocodile Crier later on.

@@cpome7 I have noted that you want that uploaded, might take a few weeks, as I have just finished digitising 40 items for editing and then upload to RU-vid. But it will certainly appear soon. Thanks for Subscribing, much appreciated.

@@phillipabond8333 Possibly, I did see the Bunnymen around that time although I seem to remember the support as being the Scientists. Maybe they had two supports.
