As someone who used to work in a build a bear, this is pretty accurate for the heritage stores, although there aren’t many of those left anymore.. they are all updating to the newer discovery stores which are more modern and white and blue. The heritage stores are so nostalgic

Honestly you don't have to do super long videos every time. I kinda like seeing people interacting with their villagers and building little things whether it's temporary or not ^^
Build A Bear definetly packaged the toys in cardboard boxes. They still do but you have to pay for it now I think, which is meh. I also miss my local BAB shop now I can only order online 🥲
omg as a child for my sixth birthday we had plans to go to the build-a-bear and have one of those little party things they do and they CLOSED both of the ones even kind of close to us right before i turned six!! so i feel the pain of the build-a-bear getting shut down. i never fully recovered until i was a grown adult and could take myself to a bear on a roadtrip and make one. i’m sure they thought i was ridiculous at 20 years old making a build-a-bear but i don’t regret it
You are not wrong! They do still put the stuffed animals in little boxes, and the item you used for that is actually pretty similar! P.S. yes please do a video playing new leaf!! It was the first animal crossing game I have ever played, it’s so nostalgic to watch others play it.🤗

I haven't been into a Build-a-Bear in years. There isn't one near me and I can just order on line and don't have to get freaked out by them stuffing the skins......... but I did go to one in England like over a decade ago, I don't even think they were in Australia then so it was such a novelty 😂 They used to just give you the little pet carry cases with your order and you'd always see people in the big shopping centres walking around with them. I just got the baby highland cow delivered yesterday ♥️
And I could never do sour things! Warheads-I’d soak them in water until the sour stuff soaked off then, I’d eat the hard candy 😂 gross I know, but I was like 10!

If there was one near me it'd be dangerous to my wallet lol and I had a feeling they came in boxes, I didnt know their heads poked out from it though, that's so cute 😭

I don't support buying squishmallows from retail stores anymore, only from second hand stores such as poshmark 😊 I think you can still enjoy squishmallows as long as you don't support the company through transactions, and I think it's important that we buy secondhand anyways, that way the plush don't end up in landfills 😊
