Here's where I got my materials to build the plugs:

materials used in video:
-10" 3/16 ID Loop
-nose, nickle 11/32", and 3/8" tail grommets
-krok stainless steel 180# swivel
-#6 stainless steel split rings
-1/0 3x strong mustad treble
-5/0 vmc swash hook
-two 5/32 oz weights
pine wood for plug

Just started tinkering with making these as a winter project. When adding my weights, how should I my plug float in the water? More or less at a 45 degree angle? Great channel and great tips on making these plugs.

Great video man, but do you not water seal the plugs or epoxy them?

I do not, and unfortunately neither of these plugs remain in my possession after two closed bails mid cast. I will admit that is something you should do after everything is said and done to maximize the life of your plugs.

Could you post the sizes of the materials you are using from the jersey tackle website. Also what type of wood are you using. Thanks for the awesome video

Yeah no problem! I'll update the video description with all of that. I'm using pine for these plugs, but for a heavier better casting plug I'd go with cedar.
