I used to be super nostalgic myself but at 54 and a widow I saw & bought a Sign that reads " Stop Looking Back! You're Not Going That Way!" I look at it every morning to remind me....Life Changing!!

I love the fact that you are picky about sponsorships. It seems a lot of other you tubers take sponsorships to make commissions and every new video there’s a new sponsorship. I also love how you and Hector are so humble. Declutterring, talking about every day life, being honest, some other you tubers seems to put their life on camera to brag when a majority of their supports do not have the means to do what they can. Absolutely love you two!

When we were raising our kids, we were your normal, busy family. But every once in a while, on a weekend, my husband and I would declare a "do nothing" day. That means, watching movies, ordering food, just completely unwinding. Now they have established this with their own families. It's important to teach kids that they can take an entire day off, and it is actually healthy!!! I hope you guys can do the same!! NO GUILT~ Hector, I just sent our boys' set of Magic Tree House books to our grandchildren. They are great books. My husband collects books and comic books..... so we have shelves and shelves of his collections. I have had to give into his hobby. I'm ready to turn one of our rooms into a library!

I’m a veryyy nostalgic person too. It saddens me so much that i’m ageing and my family and everyone around me are all ageing. We’re not young anymore. Im seeing the health and abilities of my parents decline year by year and it gets to me. I miss being in school with my friends, being so careless and stress free. Within a few years you have to find a steady job and we’re expected to start a family of our own. Even my taste, films and tv show taste is all pre 2000’s. I enjoy history and learning about the past. I always reminisce and it makes me feel sad about where I am now and where my life is going, even though i’m 23 now. Life just gets more and more serious and daunting

It was nice to have Hector as part of the vlog himself. Reminded me of the makeup vid when he selected all the makeup for you. He clearly pays attention as he knew most of the makeup you would need for a full face. I enjoyed that vid too. You are a sweet couple. I'm glad you both had a great time on your vacay.

My sweet baby grandson is leaving on April 8 for Army basic training and the amount of sweet memories that flood my soul with this kid is heart wrenching!!! I was there when he was born weighing in at a whopping 4 lbs!! I've been his granny, his dad, because his dad is useless and sometimes his mom. I'm going to miss him so much!!! He's so sweet and kind hearted and i know those drill sergeants are going to eat him up! We need all the prayers we can get!!! Much love sweet Jas and Hector and Bernardo ❤❤❤

I get very depressed when it’s rainy and the sky is crowded with dark clouds, so not having to experience that as much in California as much as other states is a relief, the only reason (as well as all my family living here) is the only reason I stay! The sun just being out and shining helps my mental state so much! ☀️

I didn't realize how relaxed Hector would be in front of the camera, a natural if you will. And such a book lover which is just awesome!! When you move, you'll have to make sure you have a room to make into a library. Or even a separate mini house outside with a good view full of plants and books!! Girl, I’m the same way! I am always thinking about the past and “back when’s “. It definitely is exhausting and I never knew the word for it but nostalgic is the perfect definition lol. I never hear anyone say that they always think about the past I always thought I was crazy or the only one😂 . Getting older and the years going by so fast is also sentimental to me, so I definitely know how you feel ❤️. Like you say the days we are living in right now really are the good ole days ❤️

I feel the same way on my Birthday, but like you said we have to focus on the present and getting older is truly a blessing because not a lot of people are here to celebrate a Birthday. I’m from NYC, and when my dad retired, my parents filled me to the West Coast. We live in San Diego; it’s been about 10 years. It’s absolutely amazing, and the best place for us. ☀️ 5 kids later and a dog. 😊 We travel with our dog! Packing for spring break right now!

Whille Hector was explaining about the volcano i thought how fun would it be for him to give his take on things in a video, well we got that. As soon as you said “getting older” and “after 25 you had a quarter life crisis” I knew exactly how what you were talking about. I just turned 25 this last year and so much had changed and you’re trying to find yourself even though you thought you’d already have your life figured out by this point. I finally reached the part of the vlog where Hector took over and I agree with everyone else, he’s a natural! I didn’t feel like he was forced to do it or he didn’t blend in with your style of vlogging, it was really cool to see him be comfortable taking over especially talking about books. I recently heard someone recommend getting childhood books for the nostalgia of a simpler time so I just got a Junie B Jones book too haha
