Let's Clean the Chicken Coop & attempt to break a Hen of her broodiness. Time to get the stink out 

Today, we start the process of breaking our broody hen. Her eggs are just about 30 days old (too old) & are exploding ("rotten eggs"). they are rotten. We also clean the chicken coop, clear out the old wood chips, and put in new wood shavings. Chickens are messy & gross, but we love them anyway. The pros outweigh the cons.
I use plain wood shavings vs straw or hay.
