Why do you even need a second OS? Just for nas backup? Can't you have the option in 1st OS to do the same thing..?

So the only reason why I need Windows, is because I want to specifically use Backblaze's Personal Computer Backup service. This only works on Windows and Mac and the drives that it backs up need to be directly connected to the OS, so no NASes. This is why I have this jank setup where I backup to another hard drive and have the Windows VM running Backblaze back up my files to the cloud!
