Dieses Video wurde im Oktober 2009 beim Herbstball des Tanzsportclubs im VFL Sindelfingen live mitgeschnitten.
Die Audiospur dieses Videos wurde direkt mit dem Harddisk-Recorder von Tyros3 - dem unteren Keyboard - aufgenommen und später zum Film montiert .
Deshalb spiele ich in diesem Film nur mit einem Keyboard.
Den VFL-Tänzern sage ich ein herzliches Danke für ihr Einverständnis, dass wir ihnen hier auf RU-vid zusehen dürfen! ... und viele Grüße nach Sindelfingen! :-)

This video was live taken in October 2009, as I played for a dance club in Sindelfingen near Stuttgart/West Germany.
The audio track was also live recorded with the hard disk recorder in Tyros3 and afterwords put together with the pictures of this film. That is the reason, why I play only with one of my two keyboards here.
Many thanks to the dancers for their agreement to watch them on youtube now!

Music is a universal language. I don't speak German, French, Italian, Spanish..eg. But we listen to Mozart, Bach, Beethoven and others. And progress to modern music. If it's music to my ear, I will cherish it. Piano is my musical instrument. Since I can't bring my piano to school to show to the girls. I self learned to play a ukulele and a guitar. The accordion came along, drums, organ, keyboards and so on. I love to listen other's playing an instrument.

I'm from the Philippines, living in the US. I got the advantage of seeking vast musical instrument and musical pieces that I could not find back home. With the advent of computers and the internet, it made music easy, fun and enjoyable. Just like your videos. Look at the people dancing they wiggle through your playing. It makes you wanna dance too.. :)

I enjoy the music you deliver, very much. I learned to play piano from my mom at 10. At 11 I went to the conservatory of music for a year to enhance my piano lessons. But all I remembered was my fingers gets beaten up by a stick if I had the wrong proper finger placement. I never became a concert pianist, or went to Europe as my mom envision. Instead I end up playing 10 instruments for 30 years and never perfected a single instrument. It's great to hear great music in any form. It brings love.

I actually do enjoy much of the "ballroom dance-style" music (and enjoyed your Ballroom "samplers"!), due to my background in ice-dance. Now that we've moved to a place (Ohio, from North Dakota) w/ more ice rinks, there are more skating clubs around, so I may try that again soon (lately, flying lessons have gotten priority!) I agree about the "old vs. new music"; my list of "RU-vid" favorites has anything from classic rock to Lawrence Welk! I like what can be done w/ the Tyros3!

Hello, what a kind comment - thank you very much. I'm very sorry about what you tell. Music has never to be a onus. I had the great luck to grow up in a family where everybody played an instrument - but no professional musican, only hobby. I early decided not to make music to my profession, cause I knew that I would lose my love to music if I am forced to practice. Today I could be much better, but with less fun. And so I do my best and am happy to reach the hearts of others with my music...

Hallo Holger, über deinen Kommentar freuen wir uns beide sehr! Vielen Dank! Im Nachhinein ärgere ich mich bei diesem Video, dass ich damals die kamera nicht noch ein bisserl weiter vor gestellt habe, damit man auch ein bisschen meine linke Hand sieht. War dann doch zuviel gleichzeitig: Musizieren, Kamera bedienen, Aufnahme am Key starten. Daheim angekommen, war ich dann mangelnde Tiefenschärfe der Videoaufnahme enttäuscht, Heut finde ich genau dies reizvoll... so kanns kommen! ;-)

Mit meinem Tanz-Publikum hab' ich hier ausgesprochenes Glück. Das merkt gottseidank noch, was eine Livemusikerin vom DJ unterscheidet und freut sich, dass da jemand Spaß dran hat, die unmöglichsten Musiktitel mit den Wunschtänzen spontan zusammen zu bringen - das Ergebnis ist auch für mich oft sehr spannend ... ;-)

Hi Heidrun, this brings back memories of the time that I did this same thing for 5 years on stage before Tyros and before even Yamaha PSR 8000 (which I shipped to the usa with me) where I reside now. I won't feel comfortable doing it again. I performed dahmahls with Wersi DX 350 und a Roland RX 50 (midi expander) and a Roland TR 626 drum computer and a Roland Jupiter 6 synthesizer With tyros things have gotten a bit easier,but still fun. I'm upgrading soon !!! maybe stagea ELS ??

Thanks for that Heidrun. The difference is that Kathy Kelly sings it as a theatrical piece and you sing it with so much more "OOOMPH"! as a waltz should be. So smooth and lilting. I much prefer your "laidback" version waltz. Long may you continue playing. Tuus! Forgive me I don't know a lot of German...eine kleine!

Yes I understand, Craig. It may be a problem with cameras flying over private territory with houses, streets ect. But I'm only interested in nature records: A flight through mountains ect. - just fancy the flight of an eagle in free nature. Thanks again for your help! I like such worldwide projects! :-)

Yes, a music video w/ flying/soaring would be a very nice project; I'm sure (having heard some of your playing and original improvisations) you can compose some lovely music for this! Years ago (about 1989), I saw a wonderful aerial video, called "Over Washington" (State; I used to live there), which featured all the various geography of that State; it had very relaxing music. You may be able to find it for some inspiration! Video from a hot air balloon would be good, too!

Oh, there's much more to do on Ty3 than ballroom rhythms! ;-) Hmmmmm.... flying lessons... I am searchin for video tracks which fits thematically to the fly of an eagle... For one of my next videos! --->>>Perhaps there's someone who reads my words and would like to give his flying movies to me, so that I can make a nice RU-vid video for one of my newest piano/orchesta compositions?

Hi exceem, no, this video was truely live recorded as I played for this people! But I used a photo-cam and no video-camera. Cause of that I had the function with the background which isn't sharp. Regards from Heidrun

Heidi macht die männlichen Alleinunterhalter platt:-). Das find ich echt super. Von den Alleinunterhaltern in unserem Land kann doch kaum einer richtig spielen. Da hören viele nicht den Unterschied zwischen E-moll und G-Dur.Mein Live Demo wurde von RU-vid wegen Urheberrechtsverletzung gesperrt. Verrückt oder? Kann also leider von mir momentan nichts mehr anbieten, wobei man meine Finger auf der Tastatur verfolgen kann, sorry ! Alles Gute und ein großes Kompliment vom Kollegen Ralph.

Yes, all flying videos would be good which shows the view of an flying eagle. And I hope that you'll find someone who has good movie material! My composition is written down, I simply have to record it and then make a movie out of this.

The couple dancing at 2:30 were "Shagging". At least that is what it's called in the Carolinas and Virginia. It is performed to Carolina Beach Music. And was that "The Electric Slide" at 4:00 in the video? No matter, everyone seemed to be really enjoying themselves, which is quite easy when Heidrun is playing. Heidrun is absolutely fantastic! Hello, the music is Mambo style, and the couple dances a style which is called "Disco Fox" here. The dancers later had probably their own choreography to their song. Something in HipHop style perhaps. Yes, dancers enjoy my music, also because in earlier years I was a dancer, too and know what they need ;-)

Hallo DATDJ007, zugegeben: Ich war beim Spielen etwas abgelenkt, weil ich ständig zwischen Kamera und Keyboard hin- und her sprang und zusätzlich auch die Audioaufnahme in Tyros3 bediente, während die Tänzer auf der Tanzfläche auf mich warten mussten. Normalerweise mache ich nicht so viele Spielfehler! ;-) Die tolle Bildqualität kommt nicht von einer Videokamera, sondern einer digitalen Spiegelreflexkamera: Canon 5DMarkII. Finde ich ebenfalls sehr begeisternd! LG Heidrun

Am tollsten ist es , wenn die Spur 1 oder 4 noch mitläuft, und dann noch talentfrei englisch gesungen wird.: "ei cink sis is mei cing" (I think this is my thing:-) Dieser Typ Alleinunterhalter verschafft uns leider einen schlechten Ruf. Das ist so, als ob ein Taxifahrer besoffen Taxi fährt ! Das geht doch net !! Ich habe nix dagegen wenn einer midis benutzt, aber er soll wenigstens auch ohne spielen können . Wie Du sagst ..selbst ein Kinderlied ist bei vielen nicht drin.Mach weiter so!!

Hello David, the original song ist much better, cause Kathy Kelly from the Kelly Familiy sings much better than me. I love this song - it's called "Gott deine Kinder" from the Disney musical "Der Glöckner von Notre Dame". The meaning of this song is, that God is asked to look more for children as he does. Hallo Ralph, ich lach mch echt schlapp über Deinen Kommentar. Aber Du hast recht. Die meisten Musiker drücken nur noch gekaufte Midifiles ab. Wenn sie dann mal auf zuruf Hänschen klein begleiten müssen, heißt es "hab ich nicht dabei". Ich wehre mich dagegen und spiele mit Styles, die ich größtenteils selbst einspiele. Allerdings fällt es immer schwerer, aktuell zu bleiben. Die musikal. Eintagsfliegen surren immer schneller an einem vorbei - leider wie der ganze heutige Zeitgeist! LG Heidrun

I'm thinking of his flying videos (which, I guess, are most of his!) There's a fairly recent one of his, showing a Wintry sky takeoff from our home airport; he uses some rather dramatic (but I think effective) music at the beginning; I think he calls it "surrounded by clouds", or similar. He's quite good at choosing music to fit his videos; he may be interested in hearing from you about doing a flying/music video...

I agree with you, keyboard keys will never replace the feeling you have got at the piano. in my youtube video named "Herbst" you hear me live playing piano. In 2012 I'll produce my best piano compositions: Recording an own CD.
