The problem with your audio is that the volume is very low, this video included. But it's not an issue with your live and shorts videos, just your "normal" videos.

I found one problem its when Alphacore is in like a breakroom. The black dude there is something on his shoulder like its part of his jacket and then its gone. The text on that page is ONE QUESTION BRY. WHAT"S WITH THE SHADES?

As intent as this guy was to find issues I’m surprised he didn’t notice that the bank robbers eyes changed colors.

Ah, but maybe the robber was wearing colored contact lenses to fool witnesses...only to lose them in the swimming pool! 😂😂

@@MichaelJPartyka when I first saw the eyes change I figured it was probably intentional. Now that I have finished the book I can say that doesn’t seem to be the case. Regardless I quite enjoyed this book overall.

Lol, funny video Mike. The base is too high nitpick that guy brought up, cracked me up. The Justice league had a space station in orbit. Keep it up,Mike.
@truefanforum3273
@truefanforum3273 8 месяцев назад
Why do they even need a flying base in the first place? It's not like they're traveling all over the world, and two of them can fly anyway! Talk about a waste of money. The Justice League responded to threats all over the world, so a space station makes sense.
@garfieldsbizarreadventure5758
@garfieldsbizarreadventure5758 8 месяцев назад
@truefanforum3273 Well the Alphacore base is just over the city. I imagine it's easier to deploy units when you have an overlook of the city, as opposed to being on the ground.
@truefanforum3273
@truefanforum3273 8 месяцев назад
@@garfieldsbizarreadventure5758 Again, two of them can fly, so being on the ground isn't a problem. Most teams don't have flying bases and they do just fine. Heck, even the Justice League doesn't always have a space station. Having a flying base for three people is idiotic, which does make it a good fit for the Rippaverse.
@garfieldsbizarreadventure5758
@garfieldsbizarreadventure5758 8 месяцев назад
@@truefanforum3273 Again you are showing your personal disdain for Eric July and not being critical of the book itself. If you read the book, then you would know that the base houses an entire division of police officers who operate the ship.

@@garfieldsbizarreadventure5758 I'm not talking about the support staff, I'm talking about the three actual members of the team. You know, the three lunkheads on the cover? They could have a section in the Barn, or their own building on the ground. A flying base is unnecessary. It's not like they're going to Tibet or something.

Here's something you and the other guy missed. On that splash page you like the minions are using Stormtrooper blasters. I'm not kidding, they look EXACTLY like the weapons from Star Wars. I guess one law suit wasn't enough, now he wants Disney to come after his butt. Is not respecting copyright a Libertarian thing, or just a July thing?
@garfieldsbizarreadventure5758
@garfieldsbizarreadventure5758 8 месяцев назад
Come on dude, that's a stretch. By that logic, Star Wars should sue Gundam for their Energy Swords which operates and looks like Lightsabers. And While we are at it. The Japanese should sue George Lucas for ripping off the Hidden Fortress film to make Star Wars. Silly Stuff.
@truefanforum3273
@truefanforum3273 8 месяцев назад
@@garfieldsbizarreadventure5758 We're not talking about superficial appearances, we are talking about exact copies. Those guns aren't similar to stormtrooper blasters, they ARE stormtrooper blasters down to the last detail. And how is a country supposed to sue someone for making a movie like another? The entire Japanese people don't own the movie rights. July is a hack and every issue of his garbage proves that.
@garfieldsbizarreadventure5758
@garfieldsbizarreadventure5758 8 месяцев назад
@truefanforum3273 They are not exact copies, dude. I think you may need to get eyes checked. Take Mike Partyka's Advice and don't over nitpick, especially if you personally dislike someone. It makes your point weaker. And I was referencing the Japanese creative team who created The Hidden Fortress. Not the entire damn country.
@truefanforum3273
@truefanforum3273 8 месяцев назад
@@garfieldsbizarreadventure5758 They are exact copies. I've seen Star Wars enough to know what they look like. It's not a nitpick, it's pointing copyright infringement. And if you meant the creative team, then write the creative team. Are you a July fan boy or are you recovering from a head injury? Amounts to the same thing.

The lense flares are horrible/jarring and they are everywhere throughout the page. They don’t in anyway give JJ abrams vibes. They should be more transparent and instead they look like thick cross marks all over the page. Also the helicopter not having any motion with the propellers at the top is pretty poor execution of the art. I think you’re giving way to much benefit of the doubt saying the helicopter has extra tech that makes it float. If it did why would it have traditional propellers at the top that don’t move? From a story, design, tech stand point if that helicopter is not a normal helicopter the writer and artist did a horrible job showing that to the audience. All they did was draw a normal looking helicopter without motion.
@MichaelJPartyka
@MichaelJPartyka 8 месяцев назад
Like I say in the video, maybe the helicopter is a normal one upgraded with alien or extradimensional tech such that it floats, and the top rotors are kept as backup/emergency propulsion. The point is we don't know much about Rippaverse tech, so we shouldn't nitpick what might have a valid explanation (unless we also provide the possible valid explanation, as I did for ISOM #2 when answering the question, "How did Goodyng arrive so quickly if we first see him on foot?").
@Lastlineshow
@Lastlineshow 8 месяцев назад
@@MichaelJPartyka I have to again disagree that is not worth criticizing. If we pretend that the helicopter has some crazy upgraded syfy alien tech 1. Why make it look like a plain old helicopter, 2. Why would you have the propellers at the top open and not moving(that would just get in the way) even if they exist as a backup they should be something that’s hidden then pops out when needed. As a graphic designer/digital artist this is poor design and composition. If it is a normal helicopter the artist should have some type of motion effect or lines in motion that makes it look like the propeller is moving. If it’s not a normal helicopter and it’s got syfy alien tech then the artist should NOT make the syfy alien helicopter look like a normal standard helicopter(that would be lazy, boring, and honestly useless information cuz again we don’t see anything syfy alien about it so why should the reader think anything other then that’s a normal helicopter that the artist didn’t add motion to the propellers). You’re taking a huge leap saying it “may” have alien tech when the writer and artist gave zero indication it has that. Either way regular helicopter or syfy it was executed poorly imo.
@MichaelJPartyka
@MichaelJPartyka 8 месяцев назад
@@Lastlineshow You have to take into consideration the Rippaverse world, the history and tech level of which we're (or at least I'm, being only 10 pages into ALPHACORE #1) still not aware. For example, let's say that 15-20 years ago there was a War of Separation in which not only did Texas secede from the U.S. (thus cutting itself off from easy trade with the U.S.) but also some extradimensional barriers were breached so that weird tech became available in Texas. What if the new restricted trade between Texas and the U.S. meant that Texas can't easily manufacture new helicopters and instead has to retrofit old helicopters with alien tech? It would actually be a major creative endeavor to construct a fictional world in which new tech is blended with hand-me-down tech. (Maybe GOODYNG will take us down that rabbit hole.)
@Lastlineshow
@Lastlineshow 8 месяцев назад
@@MichaelJPartyka I hear you and that’s why I’m saying if that helicopter is more advanced then normal helicopters and not just (artist didn’t draw propellers properly to look like they are in motion) then Eric and Chuck did a horrible job at world building and the artist did a horrible job at designing a helicopter or giving us even a tiny hint via design that the helicopter is not more then just a plain regular helicopter, specially since their cars also look like normal cars. My criticism is it’s either bad art or bad world building. If that helicopter is more advanced then there should either be 1. Something said in the story that tells us this or 2. The design of the helicopter should give us a hint that this is not a normal helicopter. Neither of these two things are done. Your making up things that the reader has not been given.

@@Lastlineshow The fact that it's possible to make something up that isn't given -- but still might be true -- is what makes this nitpick one I wouldn't raise.
