@@kyan4500yes. Redbull Rampage is my dream, I will never use breaks! Taking them off to save weight I've never on my life thought about that! (Realistically the breaks weigh ~3% of the bike. Just use them unless you're a professional)
Those seals are meant to keep the oil inside the fork. The stanchions need to be bone dry. If there‘s oil on them, their seal is gone. Lubrication from the outside is a bad idea as the oil binds dirt and that works its way into the seal and ruins it.
really. lots of efforts and cleaning? it had problem not with being clean. i fixed bikes and we aint cleaning a bike when its got an issue. we just solve it. this was before really expensive bikes. really miss older days
Never seen anyone use foam before in their tubeless. I guess its really good for that extra sidewall support and if you get a bigger puncture. I must try it.
