Looking up videos of baby flamingos has given me the chuckle I needed this morning. If anyone else needs a chuckle, just search what a puffin sounds like.

OMG puffins are the silliest animals EVER. I was in a wildlife sanctuary that had a puffin once and it had a complete freakout for 20 minutes straight over the state of it's feathers! It ruffled them every which way and threw an absolute tantrum till they were all nice and straight. I just about died laughing.

IIRC the ankles are the joint above the water and the knees are right at the top where the feathered body is. And the chicks are cute - really....

As always it's so nice to have your company and listening to you while I'm colouring too. A month ago I coloured flamingos in Birds in the Forest and although pink really isn't my most favorite colour it was fun to do some research on them to see what they look like. And I agree, their babies are weird, haha. My favourite wildlife animals are penguins, they really are so funny and cute (while in real life they aren't very sweet). I'm in the Netherlands, just across the pond ;)

Not entering the competition as I already do Colouring Heaven! But just wanted to say it's fab to see you back and in better spirits, you already know how much I've been thinking of you, we've missed you lots. I do love the Castle Arts Gold pencils, they've got a fab range of colours and I love how they feel on most colouring books. My fave animal is definitely anything feline, probably a cuddly domestic cat or a majestic panther 🐈😻🤗

So happy to see a post from you! And a lovely coloring one at that even if it is sporadic. My favorite "wild" animal is the lesser panda....I mean....it doesn't get much cuter. Though there aren't many in the wild and most are in breeding programs. Hence why wild is in quotes.

I had the opportunity to see a flamingo march in Orlando last year. They’re so sweet. My favourite animal is tough to pick..lions, tigers, snow leopards, foxes and so many others 😊

Hullo Gem, I have missed your joyous videos and coloring techniques too! I do hope your feeling better and not just soldiering on! I may have to add to my comment if there is some thing that must be in the comments to engage in the giveaway. I did notice that some people told you their favorite animal? I am a big Bear advocate, Black and Grizzly! We have had a dramatic downturn in bear population in this area of California and I truly hope they do not diminish so much they become endangered or a category that shows they are in trouble! Lovely Flamingo's, I am excited to see what you create in the coming year!

Aww Gem! The picture is looking beautiful! 🤷🙋❤️‍🔥☺️. I had to Google it about baby Flamingos! After you tell what they look like, cause I honestly never seen one! And I had to laugh at the videos I watched! They are too adorable!, and clumsy!, lmao 🤣😂🤣. Growing up I was made fun of because of being so long legged, and tall and skinny! And was called Flamingo legs!! Lmao 🤣, one reason why cause I was caught many times standing with one leg up on the other when I was doing something standing in one spot!🤷🤦🤷😂🤣🤷. like doing dishes etc!! And it's become a habit over many years!🤷🤦🤷🤣. Need to Google, The Dodo! Woman raises baby Flamingo!! It's a beautiful story. And you can also see many baby flamingos in the Oregon Zoo! Hooray! So nice to see your video! Really missed you! I am excited to see you coloring again. You do such wonderful work. I am sad to say, our postage has gotten out of my price range. It cost me almost $30.00 for the last order of paints and postcards. Ridiculous! So, I will have to pass on buying anything from the cave. It makes me sad but that's how it stands today. I'd love your coloring book but don't want you to pay for the postage. (But just for fun, my favorite animal in the wild is a bull elk. A Majestic animal)

I really love the way these pretty little mingos are coming out! Just my two cents, i think that odd straight line under the front most mingos chest is the flamingo in behinds leg that is tucked up under his chest, so maybe make it that deeper purply pink?
