Today, I want to stick some of my "condition photos" into my construction site/moving junk journal. I'll show you why I printed my photos in black and white and how I give them unique borders that make each page a real eye-catcher and put every photo in the spotlight!

I want to commend you for taking us on this "moving journey". Having moved several times with art supplies, I know first hand how hard that is. It’s impossible to imagine how much you are doing everyday. I was almost in tears when you said that you have gotten support from a fellow JJ. She did a really sweet thing for you. I’m glad that you got to meet her in person. I was also able to meet a fellow JJ in person this past weekend. It truly is a special bond. You are a beautiful soul! Thank you for sharing with us! The tradition is not widespread in the US, but we actually received this from our neighbors when we moved in 15 years ago and so we recently gifted bread, salt, and wine to our newest neighbors.

Aaaahhhhh!!....💖🤗💖!!! You can't hear me, but I'm screaming with joy! I KNEW IT! Lol!😁 No... I did NOT see the picture. But I just KNEW that "darling" was connected somehow.😉💗 I'm using cryptic language, so I don't give any "spoilers".😂 That is just so cool!!💖 I can really relate to the therapeutic benefits of (or the "need") crafting & art for our health. My craft space & life are upside down and stressful right now, too. I haven't created anything for months!... since Christmas.😭 I'm struggling through my disability & chronic pain to get my small, creative space into more functional order. The longer it's taking me, the more anxious & depressed I am.💔 I greatly appreciate my little "escape" time watching you, Barbara, & a few others. You all are my motivation to push onward so I can play & create again, asap! 🥹 I can't wait for YOU too... for your construction/renovation and your LIFE to settle down, so you can relax and do what you love so much. Louise, I so love your beautiful soul and how you are so willing to share yourself with us. I understand how you must do this creative work at the same time you are in the midst of such a huge transition. And also understand how challenging it must be. I mostly make junk journals and create for myself but have also had the joy of sharing my passion with several friends in my hometown. Journal (definition): "a daily record of occurrences, experiences, or observations." Not alway a written account, but perhaps a visual account which triggers memories of an event, person or feeling during an important season of life. So may I suggest you include some comments from the videos/posts you created during your move? That way, in the future when you flip through this journal, you can once again re-visit the wonderful supportive messages you have received! How does it feel to know that you are such a positive and joyful influence on a global audience? Brava!! 😉

My mother always brought bread and salt when anyone moved to a new home. I do it too. I’m in the US…California. As for working while you are doing work in your apartment and moving…I am in awe of you. The last time I moved I took days off work and I didn’t have to do any construction!

Luise you made me cry tears of joy when I heard about the kindness from people in the community. It sounds like this is going to be a great opportunity for you on many levels. I can't wit to see your new craft cabinet. I don't write much in my journals I prefer to let the visuals do the talking. You know the English saying is "A picture speaks a thousand words". Thank you ❤️ when you move to a new home you get salt and bread from for example the neighbors. Those who give away salt and bread want the residents to always have enough of these two staple foods in their new home.

Oh Luise, my beloved "crafting beast" (or as I've been calling you since your excavations in the new flat: "Luisiana Jones"). Wow, that my humble greeting from Hamburg has now found a place in your cool journal: thank you... I'm glad that you like the postcard. And we'll talk about my handwriting again when you have more time. Your journal is just mega cool - the black and white pictures in the frames are perfect (I got the frames from your shop straight away because they fit perfectly into a current project of mine). I'm over the moon 🌜for you and your move with happiness together 🎸🖌️better postage situation also in Germany 😂despite the 'crap' driving you crazy at this time😂I'm in the midst of moving too, but yesterday stopped to take a photo of the boats in the harbour and I had calm☺️just as you, still junk journalling as you can't stop! For me the process of putting together a page or pages is my form of journaling. The colors, images, art techniques, papers and ephemera, and selected phrases express something I am saying. When it’s done, like a written diary, I can look back at it and “read” it. People enjoy looking at my journals perhaps because it was constructed with feelings, my interior monologue. I love watching your videos because of the communication as your hands make a page. (If you’re a great chef, no one asks what you do with the meal after it’s consumed)

Luise I had to stop the video or I'd start crying with you. You amaze me all the time. I am inspired everytime I visit your channel, which is every time you post. I don't often leave comments but always hit the thumbs up. I wouldn't worry about how you are looking or the state of your home. In fact I am in awe of the fact that you are posting videos during this time at all. Moving is stressful enough and to be on a design team and doing videos for us must be a challenge in it's self. Oh. My. Gosh... Luise... THAT is exactly why I am trying to get my space to function better. You looking for your stapler is what I experience every time I want to craft. My craft space is my bedroom, because I live with my son & his family.💗 My room is a good size, w/a small walk-in closet & my own bathroom. I have my bed, TV, night-table in about 1/4 of my room, & one side of my closet for clothes... hanging & a small dresser. Eeeeeevvvery place else is for art & crafting! 🤩 Even some in my bathroom.😁 I have things in so many different places... it's a nightmare to find things that "I know I have".😵‍💫 lol! I'm working on it, tho. I just need to STOP buying more supplies for a while.😂

We, in my country, have a tradition with salt and bread for wedding! it's presented by the fiance's parents to the newlyweds. Bread is salty. And those who eat the biggest chunk of the bread will be the leader of the family haha (well it's a joke of course, but always presented this way). And also salt has the meaning of protecting from evil

I think you are framing a story for us, a mystery novel or a romance novel! You sure look exceptionally happy with your ‘landlord’ in those photos! Before I forget... because im old-ish...😵‍💫 I have to say... I think it would be awesome if you created, for sale, a line of stamps from your abstract black flowers. I love them sooo much!!😍 You could have an "original" size series, AND... maybe a 1/2 size. Some smaller size, like for A6?? Idk... I'm American. Lol! "Large & small", anyway.😁 You could expand your business in so many ways. I think you are just as talented as other people... even MORE than some... who have lines of stamps, stencils & dies. Some folks might think this has no place being written in a public place, and maybe it doesn't, but I'm comfortable being honest about me and my mess of life. . .any way, I understand your issue about having to hunt for your crafting supplies. In 33 days I will be homeless. I am packing my whole home into boxes to put into a rented storage unit. My craft supplies I am being very careful how I pack them and label them because I want to have access to them for however long it takes me to save up money to be able to rent a home. I've chosen a few boxes, and to date I've packed and unpacked them half a dozen times trying to get my most wanted/needed items into those few boxes so that they will be right by the door of the storage unit. It sure is a strange state of affairs living out of boxes and bags!!

Is your crafting space set up with your big pieces of furniture? If so, take a mini vacation and unpack your craft room supplies, and put them away where they need to be. After all this time, your followers will understand, especially if you take before pictures, during and finished. That way we can envision ourselves in your space as we watch and craft with you.

@@luiseheinzl You may ask... you needed to "have a talk" (it was a bit accusing) to express to us how creators should NOT support certain online sellers...etc,etc. (I don't buy anything online, I support local.) Temu and Allie express come to mind. I stopped watching: too much! too long! ... but I replied, never got response. I am still a subscriber. Used to be from Michael's mobile device, my son who passed away ( I have an email from you, so endearing, because I missed the deadline to send you my tag) Then my husband bought me my own tablet... now my YT handle is Michael's cat's name. My tag is in your first journal you compiled, when you reached 8000 subscribers!!! Yay! No worries, Luise, I will enjoy a video from you when I have time. Have a safe move..... :)

Ooh luise u made me laugh out loud so hard! The saying u mentioned is also a dutch saying, but it’s not in most other countries. I remember these books called “ I always got my sin” dont know if they have something similar where u are from😅 but yeah it made me thibk of that and laugh! Haha i do know exactly what u mean with not really want to be to driect or not wanting to overstay your welcome or something like that. U are a lovely person and very talented.
