Great figure! Beast Kingdom also has a Scrooge McDuck, Huey, Dewey, and Louie so maybe there’s a Launchpad in the works...

I love Darkwing, but Gizmoduck was my favorite, in my country his name was PatoAparato, I love all this characters, they were a good piece of my childhood.

Great vid. I saw this on BBTS a few months back and passed on it because I really dont like the proportions on him. His head/face , hands and legs look amazing, but that torso is all wrong. Its like they slapped a DW head and shirt on Donald duck's body. Dw is slimmer with a puffed out chest and shoulders, not short and dumpy. Your review allows me to live vicariously thru you, so I can appreciate the the things this set does right from a safe, and cheap, distance.

a trick to keeping hats on figures without magnets or pegs you can use some simple gift wrap tape, create a small ring with the tape and you can stick it inside the hat and it should make the hat stay on much better, I do this with some of my figures lol, Thankfully the tape holds up and doesn't remove the paint either since it's the gift wrap tape I think it's designed to be removeable without tearing off things.

I remember every 4th of July for a while. I'd get a bunch of smoke bombs and would put them all around me and light them up to try and act like I was appearing out of the smoke like in Darkwing Duck. It never worked out as I had planned though.

Mine has a very visible dark mold line running from the tail right across the waist - does yours have the same or did I perhaps get one with bad QC?

Great cosplay Jay, and great looking figure. Now trying to figure out how I watched Darkwing in the early 90's would have sworn it was a late 80s show.

I usually don't think cloth looks good on any figures smaller than 12 inches (that's what she said), but I have to say it doesn't look too bad at all in this case. Now I'm torn on whether to start picking these up, or hold out for maybe a Super7 or Neca to start doing a Disney Afternoon line. Either way, I think we definitely need more Disney Afternoon toys in our lives!

i'm shocked you didn't pick up Negaduck as well. these figures were the first time i'd ever heard of Beast Kingdom either, and i'll certainly be keeping my eye on them from now on, really hoping they do a Darkwing statue to match the Scrooge they did. my only minor complaint is they went with a grapple gun instead of giving him any gas attachments.

Beast Kingdom makes a lot of cool stuff. I am looking forward to their sixth scale Iron Throne from Game of Thrones.
