God how time flies. It’s crazy we didn’t know the good ole days were the ones we were living in. Sitting on MySpace till midnight, trying to find a ride to the mall the next day to go get some band shirts from Hot Topic. Now I’m 29 and laying in bed with my dogs thinking about my work week. Hang on to that youth it goes by way too fast.
There's a moment at 0:06 where the audio clips, and I always assumed it was a scratch on the CD that I'd burned it off of. This whole song is already nostalgia for me, but hearing that skip added another layer of it.
I Think I was meant to read this today… I’ve been w my man for 9.5 years and I’m 30 in June. We have been together 9.5 years .. that takes me back to 20ish years old. We actually shared our first kiss in high school and really liked eachother I guess it just wasn’t right at the time.. it’s a good thing looking back now we both got a chance to go crazy and get shit out of our system .. we ran back into each other at a gas station a few years later (when we were 20 and 21..) and we just TODAY went to fill our marriage paperwork . My grandparents who have been married 68 years said “if you have been together almost 10 years and you still wanna marry each other, that’s an amazing sign “ and it was like a shot to the heart. I know we have been together 9 plus years but it feels amazing that in a few days he will officially be my husband . And that feels damn good to say. Then I looked up the song and see ur comment. I think it will have to definitely be put into something at our low key wedding. Thank you. Idk who U are but I love everyone and I’m so glad I saw this comment! My ex used to text me at 11:11 every night because of this song. We were young and old dated for a year but we thought our relationship was the end all be all. He ended up passing away recently. I went to his funeral a few weeks ago
