Look, I'm not cancelling my Deluxe '89 cos I love that Diorama piece but I'm only using the bloody sculpt as the other two are pure trash to me who has studied Keaton's look for the past 20 years. I've also had to order a custom '89 cowl as the 2.0 is also horrible as Keaton's eyes aren't set back in the cowl far enough & this also throws off the look of the figure as well. DX-09 with Jaxon cape is still the bomb for me.
The JND joker embodies the character. The custom looks like Health Ledger making his handsome face on the cover of GQ with leftover film make up. The JND heads look the ones to beat. Expensive but no regrets!
I don’t think you losing $200 in a deposit should be a reason to keep a figure where you’re going to pay $2,000 for, if you don’t want the figure. Having said that, I have 1 JND statue, The Robert Pattinson Batman. There’s nothing like a JND piece. Silicone is next level. I’d JNDize and go for it one time.
I'm still gonna hold onto the order. Hopefully we get to see more blogger style shots of it before release to get a better feel for it. These pics were very straight on and close up. Thanks for watching and supporting the channel!!
Thanks for the information. Had I spotted this sculpt sooner, there's no way I would have pre-ordered the JND figure, which, over time, is looking not so great and is far behind John Wu's work.
Looking forward to picking up TOS Crew... NOT looking forward to the loooong long wait for their releases. And of course I gotta pick up Wesley Crusher. Its a felony they didn't produce him in the rainbow outfit.
Great show Ben and while TWD has sorta outstayed it’s welcome with the spin offs IMO I agree with Mike if you love the characters it’s never too late. Also just recently made my own fairly detailed custom Shane so Classy Thomas I’m with ya, he should have been one do the first three as he’s never been made including 3rd party and Threezero
Buddy, I have 11 jokers, 4 or 5 customs. If you ever need help looking, I can give you a name where this person does any sculpt you want. Even if it's a 1 off or something he's selling now. I got 2 from him, and he sent it to a paint and hair person . The sculpt was 150, the paint and hair were 300, 😊and it came out great. I bought it from a guy that does customs in China, and then he sent it to his buddy, and his Buddy sent it to me. I also paid 450 for just color and scuplted hair for another joker. So you just gotta shop around. I have a lot of names if you need them. Let me know if you want a custom
I'm not impressed with those JND production pictures. The eyes look nothing like Heath's, he looks far too old, and his face looks swollen, especially on the right side of his face - gravity causing issues with silicone at 1/6? The awesome custom shows just how far off the JND is. The JND has the detail and realism, but to my eyes at least, the likeness isn't as good as Inart's or the Artisan Jokers.
