Tactical dice-rolling roguelike combat. Take control of 5 heroes, each with their own unique dice. Fight your way through 20 levels of monsters and try to take on the final boss. If you lose a single fight you have to start over so be careful (and lucky!).

Finally watching the Cruel+Vitality combo! Have noticed that one a while ago and I was excited for when you would finally realize that. Getting characters that can increase the pips and let you attack again was honestly the cherry on top

I talked about the combo a long time ago! I've just never gotten a build where it does anything, and even in this run I'd argue it was _decent_ haha.

10:50 this is when i first realized the (potential, and very VERY niche) reason for vitality on offensive sides: cruel. Yeah that's it. Nothing else. Still neat to think that a keyword meant for helping allies can potentially be used offensively tho.

I think it also gets rid of the things that say outer hp so like stone on the coffin and stuff if what i read was right

Is century keyword max hp or current hp? I can't remember. If it's max hp you could theoretically bump someone over 100 to activate the bonus.

Finally beat Unfair Generated today. Got an insane healing crew, to the point it's more accurate to say that I outlived the battles, rather than beating them. My vitality-fueled health boosts got to the point where I could scare off hordes of enemies at once, and even a demon at full health (12 HP) summoned by Hexia - after landing the killing blow on her. Note that this was without the friendship bracelet - my final health total was 152! Aside from the crazy healing, the other most defining part of the run was that, despite running 2 healers and a mage, I chose a tier-4 curse that straight up removes Burst. Thus, every available spell became that much more precious, since I didn't have Burst to fall back on.

Imagine Flute & Kite Shield on the Jumble, then Brimstone on the Dice for that sweet, sweet 9 shield to all cantrip on whoever holds the Emerald Mirror.

I'm sure the logic with enemies taking 1 less damage from everything on the first turn being lower-weighted than 1 armour to all enemies at start of combat is that you CAN just wait a turn and there will be no downside, but it really seems to me that 1 armour at the start of combat is WAY less impactful than weakening your first turn by so much. Your first turn is the turn you get the most, after all, and it's the only turn where you can kill things before they have any chance to play the game.

Technically you could pair a Vitality Damage side and a Cruel Damage side. You increase their max hp but not heal them so they could be reduced to half hp more easily. Edit: 21:33 should have watched the whole video before commenting
