Prices can be pretty crazy at the moment with imported wines, luckily we have a lot of fantastic local producers. We will definitely get some older drops for the future!
@@1949cr Isn't that the most important part though? It's one thing to identify a wine, it's another thing to impart information about it. I suppose when you hit the upper echelon of wine tasting, the identification ceases to be as important as the liquid in the glass.
@@wineforthepeople Don't agree. The varietal, even if wrong, is the missing piece in the jigsaw. Being able to link descriptors to a suggested varietal is excellent learning. Even if wrong.
Macvin, a potentially polarising wine, but sure is my jam! Was a shock the first time i tried it, but havig had the opportunity to love in the Jura, I fell in love with the stuff. But sadly it is so expensive here in Aus. Macvin is traditionally drink as an aperitif.
