We're so happy to see you back! Stephen looks amazing. Congrats on losing those pounds; you've truly done an exceptional job! ❤ Just be yourself when you're on camera, Dan 😊 and try to take it easy. You're doing a fantastic job, and we appreciate you for who you are. A video of you relaxing in the van would be lovely too. Don't feel pressured to always be busy. I think it's just wonderful to get updates.😊😊 another fantastic video.
Hey Paul, thank you, I do appreciate your words of reassurance 🙏😍 You're right there's not always a need to be busy to film things - casual day to day stuff can work too. I'm just a bit highly strung at times 😂🙈 Stephen is doing really well, still can't believe he's running! It definitely suits him. Thank you Paul ❤️ 🙏
Hi, I hope you are well :). The tiles in the kitchen are lovely, I really like those touches. And well done for the fitness thing, I lost 4 stone changing my bad habits to reverse pre-diabetes, and it was sooo worth it. So bit by bit things will improve for him no doubt. There is no right to roam in England and Wales, most of that land is owned by private enterprise, they have begun to charge and block access to things that never used to be it seems. I think a lot more people are moving to vans and canal boats and other ways to escape living in unaffordable houses and paying rent, but even that will be eventually exploited I am sure. local councils may have to create park-ups and facilities, it is like we are all going back to a traveller way of existing because nothing is affordable. Keep happy, and I think the vlog was both very you two, and fun :D
Hi guys, Great having you back. We can't believe you were just in Cirencester, we're at a campsite by Dursley, about 12 miles away. We've been here since 1st September and are moving onto Blue Anchor Bay on 1st October. Cirencester is so beautiful and we really enjoyed our visit on 11th. Hope you have a wonderful time in Wales. 👍✌️
Good to see you boys! Love how open you are and I am so amazed you are so good filming and talking even though you feel you can do better... Im so bored with perfection and picture perfect filtered reality! You bring reality back - thank you! 🙂
Ah thank you so much Marcus, that's really kind of you to say ❤️ Sometimes it just doesn't feel right or comfortable filming but I probably think those feelings comes across more than they do (Stephen usually says it's fine, I should probably listen more to him!). In this instance I think we just felt a bit rusty is all. Thanks again ❤️🙏
Good job Stephen on the running. Keep going. Good idea to set a realistic goal like twice a week. Give yourself a treat for every run over that! Did NOT know that about Cirencester. Thank you. See you next week....
Thank you Denise ❤️ Stephen's doing a grand job, but not in an overly strict way that means he won't have a few treats etc, so like you say he'll have "reward" type days. It's working out well without too much pressure, it's a good balance ❤️
Yes I get it, the vibe wasn't right in the Cirencester park, but as long as the weather's on your side you should enjoy the freedom of the Black Mountains and Brecons..
We really liked Cirencester, but yes by the time we were in that park things weren't really gelling so sometimes you've just gotta give it up rather than force something . Brecons were beautiful, that'll be in the next video 😁❤️
Daylight robbery UK is born in Hertfordshire North London Hatfield house was quite close to us me and my friends we used to go to Hatfield house and have picnics and on the land. I now have hurt over the last 20 odd years that they don’t allow people to go in for free and they charge going to the good days. I wish I was back in the 1970s😢 I know how you feel. I think everybody is feeling a bit flustered at the moment. I’m sat in my van pouring down with rain but I do like the rain. I must admit on the van. Take care
We're with you on the rain thing! When circumstances are right we love being in the van and listening to the rain on the roof and outside...as long as it didn't ruin any plans that day 😂 Yes I think these large parks being taken away from people, when there aren't *that* many around, is terrible, especially if it's clearly owned by wealthy people who can probably afford to keep it open. It feels mean-spirited with very dubious justifications...
I go to the Cotswolds quite a lot my dad lives in that area where you are now. Are used to live in Gloucestershire on the outskirts of the village and we used to have lots of Roman stuff about very interesting.😊
It's a lovely part of the country isn't it, so much history and beautiful landscapes. I (Dan) too grew up in Gloucestershire, nowhere posh or pretty 😂 (it was just outside Gloucester itself), but I always appreciated growing up in that part of the world. We moved to Kent when I was 11 and it never quite matched up 😂
Sorry if that didn't come across how it was intended, we weren't saying it's the same thing, as we tried to emphasise in the video, more that we can understand why people bring up those roots, and their wealth being founded upon it, and now taking a valuable green space away from people unless you pay for it despite the fact its been open to the public for centuries. It's not the same thing - but it doesn't sit right and history does play a part in that for the reasons we tried to go into. There's some articles online that articulate this much better than we could.
