Eggs and bread are two things that cost more there; lived there for 3 years and go back every other year. Other than that, most items aren’t much more. Hope you enjoy your trip!
Just a few things are more expensive. I just got back mainly your dairy products and some bread products but other than that you can find some good deals. Walmart is not out there to rip you off. Go to Whole Foods if you want to get ripped off.
Don’t forget people!! Almost everything has to be shipped from the main land to Hawaii islands. Except for Hawaii produced goodies, plants, chocolate, pineapple, coconut items, etc. Andy looks more Hawaii and would fit in very well. He does not look Chinese at all but more “American culture”. He's very cute! 28” waist is a small in mens clothing. Don’t tease him!! Hope he finds some cool stuff.🌴🌴🌴🌴🌴 Been to beach yet? Bet no!
That is cheap compared to where I live ? Where I’m from everything is a lot cheaper I’m from South Carolina ? But live in Ohio. And when I went to get laundry detergent at a dollar store they had to unlock it like it was a pack of smokes? because people were stealing them and kids were sneaking back there to eat them at one point. I said that’s ridiculous. They even had to look at my ID. I said you have to look at my identification to give me laundry detergent? That was at a dollar store. So yeah I didn’t go there again to get it. But it was the last thing we needed because we forgot it at the other store. I still can’t believe that. It was 2 years ago.
When we were there my mom and me talked about visiting the Wal-Mart there, but never got around to it unfortunately. Sometimes you can find food stuff you can't get at your local store etc. Though I suppose that's what Amazon, and other online retailers are for lol 😅! I definitely had a good time being in one of their local Asian grocery stores I love me some Asian food 😋!
Right!!! Because they are famous for Spam and Pineapple dole whip so guess they don't need any chances of them getting stolen. I can pack up SPAM from the main land but I don't even like SPAM because it's too salty.
