Oh man, that Sega Mouse blindsided me a little because I forgot they looked like that. Especially because, looking it up, the... European market got one with red buttons and Japan got one with blue buttons? Huh. In the US, we actually DID get a mouse for the Genesis, but it looks completely different (and kinda boring since it's all black). It was called the Sega Mega Mouse. It's... pretty cheap-feeling and a bit slow-moving in my fairly limited experience. Probably wouldn't be as good for playing Lemmings with as it would initially appear, but I don't have a Genesis Lemmings cart (rather embarrassingly...), so I can't test. Sega Retro doesn't list the original as compatible, but I *believe* I tested it with something else (Vectorman or something, probably, knowing me) and it worked. Wouldn't recommend it outside a few specific games, though, for fully understandable reasons. (Also because it was styled like a regular mouse, you couldn't use it as a trackball for something like Marble Madness. Sucks for people who like the trackball style from the arcade, but I've only ever played the NES version.) I think those stuffed guys in the first store were characters from the anime Demon Slayer/Kimetsu no Yaiba, which is super popular at the moment, but which I haven't watched because... to be honest, I don't watch a ton of anime. I have friends who do, though.
