Thank you for the nice coverage. We've run two beginner terrain park camps this year at Pine Knob. The parks are so popular that we want to teach new park goes how to safely use and navigate the features and jumps.
Nubs just does everything right. One of the best aspects is the glades especially when in a solid lake effect cycle. The second best aspect is the food!
Nubs has the best skiing in the lower peninsula IMHO. Crystal and the Boynes are great, but Nubs doesn't have a resort, and pumps every nickel of profit back into the mountain. Everything is done right, there is a nice variety of runs, and the view from some of them is spectacular.
Treetops is my home resort! It’s not the biggest but it’s often not that crowded. Also, the reason some of the runs weren’t covered was because northern Michigan had a really bad winter this year, with Gaylord receiving 60 inches less than average; the runs aren’t always that way.
Treetops is a cool little resort! I agree such a bummer year for Northern Michigan this year. Less snow and a really late start. Hopefully this season is much better!
Haha - You literally went to all the hills I didn’t have a chance to hit year! If you want to see some footage of Caberfae, Highlands, or Boyne Mtn from this year, come on over to RifeLife! Keep killing it my dude! ☃️
