Dog Flower/Snapdragon Growing Conditions
Light: Snapdragons or Dog Flowers prefer full sun to part shade. At least 5 hours of sunlight per day is ideal.
Soil: Snapdragons prefer well-draining soil that is rich in organic matter.
Water: Snapdragons need regular watering once it has been established in pots, but the soil should not be waterlogged. Water the plants deeply and allow the soil to dry before watering again.
Pruning: Pinching back the tips of snapdragon stems promotes bushier growth and encourages more blooms. Prune regularly throughout the growing season.
With proper care and attention to these growing conditions, snapdragons can provide a colorful and long-lasting display in the garden.
