I personally love the more “boring” homey type vlogs, especially coming into winter there’s something really comforting about watching them on a Sunday evening with a cuppa before a week of work❤️

As a constant youtube consumer I've reached a point where a lot of the people I follow upload videos I skip because they no longer interest me, there's one exception to this and it is you. I started following you 4-5 years ago and I have never skipped a video you uploaded, tbh you could upload a video taking a nap and I would watch it. It's not about the content itself anymore, it's about you. Every time you upload (tut, vlog, haul...) I evade myself from everything else and laugh a lot. My personal favs are Vlogs on Sundays so every time something happens to me during the week my first though is "I'm so looking forward to Jamie's Sunday vlog". Tbh I would go with the flow of whatever you wanted this channel to be, I just wish Vlogs could ramain a Sunday tradition. Lots of love xoxo

The most appealing thing about the vlogs and you in general is how relatable you and your life are. The reality of life is it’s full of “boring bits”. Social media is over saturated with “exciting bits” which have often been staged or well planned out for views and likes. That’s why watching you, Jack and the dogs being real is so refreshing! Of course you need to go with where your creativity takes you but for me personally I love what you have going on. 😁❤️

Hi Jamie, I am probably in the minority here but I'm not into makeup (never have been, lol) but I really enjoy watching your weekly vlogs. In a world where a lot of TV is mindless violence and sex I really like your vlogs as a real life mini series thats fun and light hearted. I totally get it if you feel the need to change but I would love the vlogs to stay as they are. But, if you're not feeling the love anymore, you do what feels right for you.

I love the authenticity of the vlogs, they’re not contrived, you’re just bringing us along with your week. Not just doing a haul for the sake of a video for example, you just did some online shopping and thought you’d show us. And for the everyday stuff, it just makes it more relatable and part of your charm. I love things how they are, but change can be good, even if the formats different you’re still the same

Honestly, the vlogs that are more “normal” are my favourite because they are comforting and realistic. I love the travel vlogs and stuff, but I would watch a normal vlog over the travel vlogs any day. Having said that, I will always continue to watch what you and Jack post no matter what. As long as you are both happy then any video that you post will be the best ❤️

Personally I really love the weekly vlogs. I love seeing the normal bits as well as the big trips and events. I love seeing you guys with the dogs, I'd love to see more of them (maybe more updates on Juno?). I never get bored of the weekly vlogs and I also love your separate makeup tutorials/fashion videos/health videos. Do what makes you happy, this is just my opinion!

I love what you do now because you include home stuff, boring stuff, food when you eat at home & eating out, travel, makeup, clothing, hair-do's, tattoos, working out/fitness, your kids/doggies even the funny bloopers/extras at the end. I love seeing a mix & mash of different things because even though I can't do makeup or I don't wear makeup the way you put on makeup is beautiful & an art form. Your videos excite me & satisfy the cathartic part of me that gets me up & moving or makes me feel like it's okay to be relaxed & chill at home. Plus both of my aunts are from Scotland so it's makes me miss & appreciate them at the same time. 🥰🤪

I genuinely love the weekly vlogs regardless of content. I know you may feel like it’s mundane and you might think that we think it’s boring, but I want you to know that’s so not the case! I love how relatable bits are at times (busy week at work or having a bath, reminding us how useful self care can be, winding up or having a laugh with Jack etc) but I also find it so fascinating watching the parts of your life that is so different to my reality! The make up tutorials are also a huge part of my life too, but the vlogs are where I find myself watching as soon as the notification comes through, and if I’ve time 👌 the content on Instagram for make-up related tutorials scratches that itch for me too though so don’t think I’m not interested - bloody obsessed AAF. Soak up those rays bbz and a beer and some olives for me plz x

Dear Jamie, I love the fact that you want your audience to be involved in this decision making process. It shows a great deal of respect for us. Personally, although I love your make-up skills and brand(I have a few Vieve products) I don't really watch makeup tutorials because I am rubish at recreating them, so having thsese videos separately is not a plus for me. I would definitely watch them if they were included in a weekly vlog. So yes to weekly vlogs, but please post every week a video. We are connected to you and feel the need to stay in touch with you via our weekly(video) connect. So changing the format to only vlog style videos is a big yes for me as long as you keep them coming every week and you promise to make them at least 40 min long 😁 No pressure 😄

I love the mundane bits in the vlogs, it normalizes them instead of the "hustle" culture - it gives me so much peace to see/hear that others take time off and it is normal and needed at times. The random fun facts that you notice during everyday life just makes it so relatable and fun to watch. Maybe you can shake it up in one week's vlog and then gather more feedback? (I'm sure we'll love it either way but it might be easier for you to decide what brings you joy) xxx

i personally love your vlogs but i can see why you might want to switch things up after so long. it’s comforting to see you do life and also it comes across as more real when you have down time vlogs or just go out to the cinema like in this one than to make everything about work. i love your work obviously but i like having both aspects! i think it’s more convenient when you have a whole video dedicated to a tutorial so it’s purely focused on that, but vlogs can be open into how you approach figuring out what to film or what you’re using for a tutorial? i hope this makes sense!! lots of love x

Honestly Jaime, I don’t mind how you go forward with your vlogs schedule. You can create a new schedule with posting your videos. People will get used to it. It’s good to freshen things up. I know people may want to keep things the same. Because that’s what they are used to. But I know, you’ll always have a variety of all the things we love. Makeup, fashion,travel etc.You will feel more inspired and the videos will be better. Because you’ll have more to share with us xx

I really love the chilled out vlogs. I always watch all of them but sometimes a while passes before I watch a tutorial. I think people who enjoy you will show up no matter, so do what works best for you. I really enjoy your personality and realness so as long as that stays!

Love the ‘boring’ home stuff! Other things you’ve thrown in like fashion, homeware and the training that you did with Juno was great too. Not sticking to a strict Sunday upload doesn’t matter - other than you the only other RU-vidr whose vlogs I watch religiously is Inthefrow and she does a format like you were describing; 3 day chunks at a time or with makeup tutorials or fashion hauls built in and it works great. Do what’s right for you, we’ll still love whatever you put out!

I love the weekly vlogs, boring or not, they're just so comforting to me. But if it's not what you want to do, or if you just want to mix it up a little and do more sporadic rather than scheduled weekly vlogs then if that excites you then you should do it. To be honest I think with so much going on right now, these 'normal' vlogs are comforting, I think if anything it's the content people want to see because it's relatable. The world is a very different place than it was a year and a half ago and a lot of us have totally different priorities and mindsets, at least right now. It kind of feels like YT is heading back to what it was like when we all joined and I'm here for it!

Regarding the filming - as someone who has been watching you for about 3 years now I find your weekly v logs incredibly comforting. Especially with the way the world is - I love just seeing what you guys and the dogs are up too, I love the boring days as much (sometimes more) than the exciting days. I’ve watched you for years now - before the weekly vlogs - and I have to say that the “mundane” uploads might be my favorite. Just watching the little interactions between you, Jack and the dogs are super comforting, especially when I’m having a particularly stressful week ❤️

personally LOVE the weekly vlogs- it’s so calming to watch someone just live their life- actually prefer these style videos to the videos that are jam packed full of ‘stuff’. thoroughly thoroughly enjoy your content ❤️

I’m also a huge fan of Allana’s videos and content. Over the years, I’m gotten less interested in tutorials and makeup hauls/swatching, and I’m more into seeing vlog content that still touches on beauty routines without being focused on it. Nicole Guerriero played around with starting her tutorials like a vlog before transitioning into her filming setup and I really liked it! It’s just cool to see how other people live and use their home or work spaces.

I believe you and Jack are positive influences on social media. You are genuinely kind, compassionate and loving. That is the reason I encourage you to keep doing your weekly vlog, no matter how mundane you think it is. It sets a standard for having a hard work ethic to succeed. People learn by example. I love your vlogs, but the ones I love the most are where you chat about 'stuff' - Also - love the Q&A's you and Jack did when you were engaged - maybe a 'Married' Q&A to see if you think you've changed/things have altered with you as a couple - We've been married almost 14 years and we've definitely changed how we are, but we're quite similar to you two - we laugh all the time and we also work together (in different rooms) and live together as you do... It's brilliant and so much fun! ♥ Have a fab week too - love the Insta posts - Jack's camera work is fab! ☺

I’m always here for the makeup but the vlogs give me so much. I love them. Myself and daughter sit and watch them every week at 4pm with a cup of tea every Sunday without fail

I watch everything Jamie. It doesn't really matter what you do. I don't feel your day-to-day life is boring for people watching just BC you aren't travelling like you used to. Seeing you and Jack goofing off between working hard, the dogs being silly, you buying gaudy statues with your hard earned dollars? These are all precious things that make someone with quite a bit of success and celebrity more accessable to people like us, and much more relatable too! . However if you feel as though something is lacking in RU-vid. Mix it up, you really won't lose your following if you do. (Hey that's part of your livelihood, and you worry and we get it) but you need to be fulfilled too, it's your job, and being happy with it is so very important. We support you girl! ❤️

You could be doing absolutely nothing and I still love to watch it, because the fact your in it makes it not boring, your such a bright, funny and interesting person that just lounging round the house is what we all love to see, plus it feels like we are just friends chilling out together. I love the day to day mundane things, but I think the interspersed makeup tutorial/lifestyle/fashion bits would be really cool. I love when you show the bits you’ve picked up or you’re doing your makeup in the vlog so that would be cool ☺️

I love all the vlogs. One thing I have missed is some old school Jamie. And what I mean is I would love to see you get out of your comfort zone with some extreme makeup looks! So maybe some over the top looks that aren't as wearable but they're fun. Oh and bring on all the upcoming holiday looks! Oh and maybe more business advice videos or process videos of creating products and then posting the videos after releases??? Love all the current videos just throwing a couple ideas your way♡

I also really do enjoy your tutorials and that they are separate from the vlogs, which makes them easier to find if I wanted to recreate a specific look. I like the idea of the structure change! I also really love your structured makeup tutorials. One vlogger who does a great job of combining all of her content into vlogs while also sometime doing more regimented videos is AllyiahsFace. I think you should try your idea and if you don’t feel good about it, you can always switch back!

I love the non-busy weeks too! please don't feel pressure to always have something insane to show! the format works perfectly, I look forward to them every weekend :) it's part of my routine haha
