Man I hope they keep supporting the game like this. Been playing since it has gone f2p and man I am enjoying it. I like COTW too but the gameplay in classic is much more varied and it is more immersive imo.
There's another dev team that's taken over on content creation. They have a LOT planned for Classis over the next few years. They are far from done with updates and content.
Nice! I like that they added the possibility for the animal not to be attracted by your call, I wish all species had a random chance to not come to your calls. I think they move a bit too fast though when spooked and some of the animations could use a bit of work but I'm sure they'll iron out the issues.
Hi back watching your videos they are so good full of information and I am back hunting I must say it fills good to be back the game never gets old and never fills old
@@Calcearius moose belong to cervidae. That makes them deer, they have all deer features (antlers, hooves with 2 main toes, their anatomical build closely matches that of other large deer) To take it one step further, they belong to capreolinae, and that's the "group" that includes for example mule deer
Haven't hunted the puma yet must get back into playing thehunter, I remember way back in 2009 I suggested having aggressive animals in the game and everyone on the forum screamed NO how things have changed
Very beautiful animal and animations. Absolutely love it❤ But why they don't add normal animals into the older maps? And callers? Every new animal is without a caller, hard to track, and a predator..
Can you please tell me your theHunter graphics settings because i'm experimenting with them in order to have 60fps at all times and for the game to look the best it can?
When my friend tries to play theHunter, he gets into the tutorial and immediately his frames drop, maybe down to 5 FPS his PC is a gaming PC. I told him to turn graphics all the way down but it still happened, can you help?
I never had much success with the e-caller and existing cats, I thought for sure there was quite a bit of a spook radius from setting it up. :') (So instead of luring them I spooked them.) Perhaps I was too impatient.
The very thick aspen trees don't allow treestands, but this thinner one should always work. One issue could be that if you actually click, you get the message "the reserve is full" if you have too many stands.
For biggest game the .340 drops them better, certainly at long range. The 9.3x74R has a much bigger list of permitted species (currently 29), where as the .340 only has 14.
@@ryanking4506 ya here in Alberta if the cat is anywhere but the desertey badlands we call it mountain lion or cougar (soom people call ) cats that live in marshland or badlands panthers but that’s almost always. Marshland
@@williamstavropolous8539 to me I know what they mean tho so it’s not a big deal too me. Just happy they are finally in on a 4 hr real time hunt looking for one heard one just hope he comes in
Hey i downloaded this game yesterday and its fun but very hard to find animals At first i thin i need to hunt blacktail deers but I cant find them any tips? How to use lures, how to find them and etc.. btw when I kill moose or something like that it shows me that some guy texted me about bullets i think that mean for every animal i need special gun or bullet?
Welcome to the game. When you start do not run, just walk. Put the caller in a slot in your inventory and then press that button, e.g. When you then hold the caller in your hands, press left mouse button to call. I know this is nothing related with the video, but i need help, i perfectly kill whitetail deers but when i go and scan them it doesnt give me any money
Make sure to shoot bucks. Does do not give any money. The money is determined by the score and does do not have a score. You can check your gm$ progress here: www.thehunter.com/#wallet/gms
About 5. Chances that a sound is from Puma up in the mountains is very high, due to Ptarmigans not calling very often, and sheep also not making much noise either.
Excellent videos! Thank you!!! Very helpful! A question: Will you be updating this page in TheHunter Wikia? @ thehunter.fandom.com/wiki/Animals#Animal_Interaction RE: "Spooking Others by Threat Certain animals become nervous when other species are around. This will be expressed by trotting around aimlessly. There are no predator situations where animals will kill other animals, and animal chasing only happens with grey wolves and rocky mountain elk. The following table shows what animals have been observed making other animals nervous. Most information is unofficial." ; to add the {new} Puma's and it's ability to make animals nervous. Thank you.
@@HooCairs a few streamers said that it is not possible that lions also come in thc because it is a simulation. I think that if thcotw would be a simulation at all, because in my opinion it is more realistic.

@@markfromthefuture477 Don't listen to people that don't work for EW they have just as much knowledge as you. It's totally possible that they could add lions but it's doubtful because they are now a smaller team and would require a new map for lions to fit in. Nothing to do with being realistic or not. I don't know why adding lions wouldn't be realistic either.... AS for realism neither games are simulators but thc is considered more realistic of the two. CoW is much faster paced and considered more of an arcade type game compared to classic.
Your claim in the wiki that CSS for puma is maxed out at 170 is false, because I've had a few (around 1.7) giving me more than 170 gm$, so it's more likely 180.
Sorry, but you have no clue what you're talking about by claiming that the max distance of a caller distance is 100m, it's most definitely a lot more (I don't know exactly the range), I often lured them in today for example from around 150m.
100m is only for the Jackrabbit caller luring the cats. This is official info from EW. The range of the same caller is 220m for coyotes though. The range of all other callers is also 220m.
Too bad that in none of theTrophy Lodge can be exhibited a real collection to put a trophy I have to give up another would be nice if we had aTrophy Lodge with enough space for a real collection .. and possibly the opportunity to exhibit trophies won in competition
I'd return to classic if devs add an African reserve with elephants, rhinos, hippos, lions and other iconic animals and a gun for them like .577 or .470 which we already have in COTW,this puma doesn't look that great, just a new medium sized predator....Nothing special IMHO
You're overacting the rhotic R a bit too much, hunterrrrrr, given that the rest of your pronunciation still sounds pretty German. You don't sound like a native speaker by exaggerating the rhotic R (and it still doesn't sound like an American R), while you still have the typical Germanic glottal stop in all initial vowel sounds, which is the main reason why German sounds like machine gun rattle to foreign ears. Try the British/Australian non-rhotic pronunciation, it would sound more natural.
