My girlfriend came to me and said she wanted to go visit her friends in Durango, Colorado. I said OK that sounds awesome, can I plan the route since we're taking my truck? I spent a few nights planning the route over every mountain pass we would be taking. I decided on taking Imogene Pass from Ouray to Telluride. We camped one night in Telluride and went out for dinner and movies on the streets since it was their Movie Festival. The next morning we took Ophir Pass up over to Silverton. Once near Silverton we headed up to Clear Lake and camped the lake. The following day we visited Silverton and took a trail up to where Shaun White built his secret half pipe. We found a cave up there and then decided it was time to head to Durango. From there we got to see how awesome the history of Durango seems to be. Then we paddle boarded and made our way home the following day. BEST. ROAD. TRIP. EVER.
