I'm becoming a beekeeper! Let's try to figure out what it's going to take to keep a hive of honeybees in my backyard. Can I do it? Will they attack me while I'm relaxing in my Adirondack chair out back? Join me as I begin my journey. This is an ASMR style video meant to help you relax.

I just hope they don’t buzz around too much when I’m eating out back! 🐝 I’m excited to try it though! And it’s a fun hobby to do with my son. 💕

My grandpa kept bees in the backyard down in Indiana for years back when I was growing up. It was so fascinating to me. Having my grandmas fresh baked goods with honey my grandpa made was incredible. Something I definitely want to try too.

That's so cool! I just love the idea of your grandparents serving their own honey!! So sweet! If I ever get bees to make honey that I can harvest, I'm going to bake fresh bread and make honey butter! That's my dream!! Thanks so much for this loverly comment.

The fact that the royal jelly extends a queen bee's lifespan from 6 weeks to years is so crazy! I wonder if we'll figure out how to use it for humans eventually lol.
