Welcome to this English lesson about things that you will find on other things. Have you ever noticed that students like to put stickers on their laptops? Have you noticed that your microwave has buttons on the front? In this free English class we'll go over a number of vocabulary words that you can use when describing things that have other things on them.
In this English lesson you'll learn words like: sticker, label, magnet, handle, panel, knob, screen, flap, dial, QR code, engraving, clip, clasp, button, snap and more!
I hope you enjoy this English lesson about things on other things!
⌛ Remember: Always watch the video three times. Twice today with English subtitles on, and once tomorrow with the English subtitles off. This will reinforce the English you have learned!

Hi, so many words that I can't even say in my language ,let alone name the title of this lesson. 🤣"come with" might be a good phrase verb to describe. Thanks, Enjoy tomorrow's QA stream with beautiful green 🤩🌱☘️I always can't join it though.

In summary, a cap is often associated with closures that are tightly sealed and easily opened and closed, while a lid is a more general term for a cover placed on top of a container, which may or may not provide a secure seal. However, the specific usage and terminology can vary depending on the context and the item being referred to.

Such an amazing video! BTW, what’s the difference between “shoelaces” and “shoestrings”?
@real-lifeenglish
@real-lifeenglish 11 месяцев назад
If you are talking about the string used in shoes, they're the same thing but shoelaces is more commonly used. Shoestring dose have another meaning which is a small amount of money. For example, we don't want the government to use a shoestring budget for education as it affects children badly. Hope that helps.

When I saw the title I thought it'd be a continuation of Monty Python's "Society for Putting Things on Top of Other Things". A thingy, a doohickey, would anyone add something to this collection of names of things you're not sure the name of?
