Complete opposite for me..but it's better habit doing it the way you are I think.

@@WorldsWorstFishing when I dump the scoop into the pyrex I'll take my knife and flip plastic over the pile of powder. I'll lightly stir it only towards the middle, if that makes sense. After that it blends in perfect.

yep, I do the same thing most of the time if I have to add powder to hot plastic.

Find Oracle Lures on Instagram and message him, that is the best way to buy his stuff. They are TOP NOTCH baits.

not really sure, I use the dead on plastic worm blend for dipping and it comes out really well.

World's Worst Fishing I use dead on as well I might try to dip in hotter plastic! What temp are you dipping in?

it wobbles side to side like most swimbaits...the ribs I think make it wobble pretty good.

Well we can all dream on of that..guys I know 16 years in the game still have trimmings on smaller pours with narrow extremities.

World's Worst Fishing first let me apologize. I didn’t mean for comment to sound so rude. After reading it back I sound like a big jerk. It was not my intent to come at you with negativity but more of what not to do. Personally, I think trimmed baits look unprofessional and make buyers hesitant on purchasing. All hand pours I’ve encountered and purchased don’t even look like hand pours at all. That’s how good the bait makers are. I make baits too and I never trim simply because my pours are on point. Occasionally I do mess up but there’s an easy way to fix it as if nothing happened at all. When I said keep practicing I just meant that it can be done and to keep at it until you get to that point. Again sorry i sounded like a jerk. Sometimes hard to convey through a message.

@@produc3d didn't think you sounded rude at all, I've been actively hand pouring for a little over 2 months, I don't expect perfect handpours and infact the imperfections in a hand-set open pour mold such as these is what I find attractive. The video was titled about learning handpouring rather than how to make perfect handpours, which I am a long ways from.
