These stories help me become fluent and bilingual in 2 months. I have extremely large ears , double normal size, so I can pick up every word clearly. Now I watch Spanish TV and understand every word thanks to these stories.

These are the best videos of this kind. I love it when you have both languages on the same screen on the second part when there is translation. I I also find the narrator’s voice quite pleasant.
Hello! I’m curious to know how everyone else’s learning is coming along ? How far have you gotten without these shorts vs with them ? Was the difference bigger than you thought? I’ve been on and off learning Spanish and it’s been super frustrating. I know a lot of vocab but every time I hear a familiar word conjugated it makes my brain overthink what the word is and I end up getting it but only to miss the next sentence please help ! :(
I do one screen at a time then pause the video. I look up any words I’m not sure of, and practice them a bit. And I start at the second section (with subtitles in both languages). In my opinion, this should always come first in the sequence.
@@kephillips99 ah okay gotcha so it’s similar to when you listen to a song but memorize the words right? I heard translating every word you hear or see makes your brain do no work at all compared to letting your brain figure out patterns. What do you think about that? Thanks for sharing that with me :)
I skip the section of the video that tells the story with the English subtitles. Then I listen without subtitles. That might not be the best way to learn, but it helps me from being frustrated and lost as I'm trying to understand.
I think these are of their kind the best videos I have yet seen on RU-vid. I’ve been learning Spanish for ages and I’m pretty good at grammar and anything written but when it comes to listening and comprehension I can’t stop trying to individually translate each word, wonder why it was or wasn’t in the subjunctive (for example), then find I had no idea as to even roughly what was said! These stories are engaging me to listen without necessarily translating…if that makes sense?

Ese día María iba a la boda de su amiga pero ella quería pedir un taxi por no encontrarlo Ella decidió ir en su coche y en el camino cuando ella conducía que ya habia tenido un problema grande lo que su coche estaba un neumático pinchado en el medio de la calle después de eso ella agitó las manos para pedir su ayuda y un hombre caballero bajó de su coche que llevó un traje negro y vio a Maria y su coche desde de eso ese hombre cambió el neumático de su coche y María le agradeció y se fue el hombre
@@notjeff3591 Cheryl might not know how to change the playback speed. Like Maria. She didn’t know how to change tires but she did know how to change dresses a dozen times during a day. The stranger in the highway, in his turn, knew how to change a flat tire without a lift jack! Kudos!
