Playing outside in 85-90 degree weather running around shooting hoops riding bikes around town and hearing this it was practically orgasmic. Now I hear it while sitting inside on my couch and think of the good times and how things ain’t the same
In my neighborhood in Washington DC we had a white ice cream truck and with this song , used to get me excited coming out the house with money , now as a young adult all of sudden it just gives me creepy vibes of this song 😭💀
I finally found a legit Mister softee truck 10 minutes ago for the first time in years. I heard this theme and immediately went to it for a chocolate shake. Here in NYC 99% of ice cream trucks are the bootleg ones. So glad to find a real Mister Softee.
I feel like this is the music that starts playing in a horror movie and the truck just starts driving down the street after you, everyone loves it but I'm somehow scared of this sound

This is something i love to hear outside or when im tired. I still miss when this ice cream truck came around in the afternoon on my street. Its just a low chance of that to happen.

Mr Softee came down our street in Hicksville NY every day in the summer back in the early 1960s. Delicious ice cream! The Good Humor truck came too. Loved them both. Nothing was over 25 cents in those days! We heard the truck jingle and raced outside. Fond memories of days long past.
