What yarn and hook did you use? What other weight yarns can be used and what size hooks?
@craftablyeverafter
@craftablyeverafter 9 месяцев назад
Hi, this was fingering weight yarn (Rainbow cotton 8/4) and a 2.5mm hook. You can use a thicker yarn, such as DK or Worsted woeght, but just go up to either a 3mm or 3.5mm hook.

Beautiful. What size hook are you using please? What is the size of the finished circle? Thank you.
@craftablyeverafter
@craftablyeverafter 10 месяцев назад
Hi, thank you 💕 I used a 2.5 mm hook with fingering weight yarn, but the size of your circles will depend on the yarn and hook you use, and your tension, so don't worry too much about the exact size. I would gues the smaller of the 2 circles is about 5.5 cm, so the bigger one would be maybe 6 - 6.5 cm or so.

@craftablyeverafter

I used a little bit of superglue to glue the back of the bead to the top of the crochet piece.

What size is the bead?
@craftablyeverafter
@craftablyeverafter Год назад
I used a bead from one of the crochet society subscription boxes, so not exactly sure. But it will depend on the type of yarn you use, and you can use a smaller or bigger bead depending on how you want the head of the angel to look 💕
