I thoroughly enjoy Donna's teaching methods. I'm an experienced quilter who has taught more than 5,000 individuals in my career. When Donna offers a pattern that my healthy stash would support, her videos are a pleasure to watch. Her personal style is accented by a gracious sharing of experience, friendliness, and enthusiasm. The best.
I have chosen to make this quilt for the backing of a *Memory Quilt,* 3.5" 1/2 triangle squared blocks with the fabric from my daughters baby and toddler clothing (it's quite beautifully) and these blocks are made with bedding from their childhoods, quite beautifully comingled in these blocks. The triangle squared block pattern is called, "Making Wonky Triangles with Scraps and Crumbs," perfect for how crumbly pieces of baby clothing can become when incorporating it into a *Memory Quilt.* Together the two patterns create a very charming, pretty *Memory Quilt,* which for me is perfect for my three feminine daughters decor: My middle daughter will receive it. She has my grandbabies--and, the quilt will be used in the quest bedroom, where all my girls can enjoy it. This is the perfect pattern, Striped Squares, to use the very sturdy bedding fabric, cutting them into strips--and, since I free-hand quilt, quilting a reversible quilt is not a problem. Thank you, Donna, for the inspiration. This quilt will be handed down for generations--and, I'm guessing I'll now be making more *Memory Quilts* as a result of this one's success!
My sister lives in Cardiff, Wales and I live in Spain and we both love your videos. I just wish I had access to a long arm quilter in my area. Meanwhile, I quilt vicariously by just watching you doing it. Thank you.
Hi, I’m from the uk and have recently started watching your videos, trying to teach myself to quilt. I could watch you cutting all day! The sound of the cutter going through the fabric is bliss! They should make a relaxation tape from that sound!! I really love the look of your store and you must be in fabric heaven every day you go to work. I love the look of organised ‘scrappy’ quilts, so hope you can do some of those in the future. You explain what you’re doing so clearly so thank you and thanks to Matt too for his videos. Keep them coming!
I get mesmerized watching you make your quilts! I enjoy your choice of colors and had no idea the number of longarm patterns you have. Thank you so much!
I really like this one! It's simple, but beautiful. I really appreciate how much time you spend in telling us all how to iron the blocks in every tutorial. It certainly has made a huge difference in the way my blocks and entire quilts turn out. Thank you so much!
Thank you Donna for this tutorial, I watch a lot of tutorials on RU-vid and you are by far the best. Thank you for all you do, regards Maureen in U.K. ❤️❤️
Thanks for the free pattern and the great video. Loved the tip about laying our your blocks to make it easier to sew them together without matching seams.
I really like this pattern, it kind of give a wonky effect with the squares. As always Donna - Thank you so much for all of your tutorials, I really look forward to them and the easy way you present how to put together a quilt!
Hi Donna! What a happy quilt! I love the quilting machine. I’d probably watch the whole process haha. Mesmerizing I’m sure. Thank u for all u do Hugs, Lin

You are so precise and you explain what you are doing. I learn so much watching you. Thanks again for what you do. I hope you have a blessed new year.
Lovely pattern and the batiks enhance it even further. Thank you for excellent instructions and tips ... you have the gift of enthusiasm and giving confidence enough to try it 😊👍
Thank you Donna for another beautiful quilt. You always make it look so easy. Can't wait to try this one. I'm making my daughter a quilt now out of your Ribbons pattern and the Laundry Basket Royal Blue. Sue from Broken Arrow, Ok!
Hi Donna I'm Deborah from Trinidad, and I just love your videos always love quilting but not many people here are into it just starting off and have tried a few of your patterns the table runners to be exact. Keep up your excellent tutorials and this quilt I will definitely try, but with sheeting materials. Thank you so much love from the Caribbean island of Trinidad &Tobago
Thank you for the great inspiration and fun! I like the 2" cut and the cutting instructions that take such quick and full advantage of a fat quarter. Your quilt looks beautiful!
Love this one! And the one you are giving away, is my all time favorite. I just purchased the pattern. If I win this one, I’ll have 2 of my favorite quilts! Thanks Donna for your straightforward teaching. So easy to follow and so right on!
2020 has not started off too well for us but I'm hanging in there. Always look forward to your videos though. Hope I can find more time for stitching this year. Thanks
What a great, fun pattern to do in patriotic colors and patterns. I have some white fabric with small white stars on it that would be a great place to start. Thanks for the inspiration.
Hi Donna! Returned from holiday and found this lovely new quilt pattern sitting in my inbox. I made something very similar years ago but I like this version very much - I think because of the limited colour palette. Yummy looking quilt. Thanks or sharing.
Hello Donna! I've seen the pattern on Moda's site and always wanted to make it because it looked so very easy, what i like. This video looks similar to your hip to be square video. Thanks for your tutorial with prints showing how really easy it is, well at least you make everything look easy. I've learned so much watching ALL of your, clear visuals and detailed explanations with your videos tutorials..
I love this tutorial Donna, simple and yet soo many possibilities.... new ideas to use those beautiful fabrics Kimo purchased when we visited you in November
I *love* this quilt, Donna! "JF" is Jordan Fabrics... but also "Just Fabulous"!!! :-) Your fabrics in this project are lovely, and the end result is stunning... but the construction is fairly simple, so it should come together fairly quickly. And it's a great size. Perfect combination! Bet this would look wonderful using those Moda solids FQ bundles I bought from Jordan Fabrics last year... all gradients of the same shade, and am pretty sure there were 12 in the bundle!! Thanks for the free pattern, and for the extra tips and tricks with pressing and laying out the opposite squares so there are no seams to match -- also reducing bulk. Must add this to my "Quilts I Want to Make" folder in my RU-vid account. Thanks again, Donna, Matt & JF team!! ~Diana K
Happy🎊 New 🎉Year! I so enjoy watching your tutorials- The ease of presentation, camera work,& your soothing voice, plus,of course, the beautiful projects are very inspiring! You(all) make my heart happier💝
