Nice work: a bit of trivia that might be useufl, if you care about historical practice. Corrugated metal was seldom used in trenches and similar structures, because if hit by artillery it would break up into shrapnel. But that's a minor quibble, your stuff look good!
@TheTerrainTutor
@TheTerrainTutor 7 лет назад
That's interesting, I've seen it in a few reference photos but mainly they're wooden planking. You'd have thought the wood would be worse for shrapnel mate
@LeifLaffeEriksson

Question for you, sir ... what's a redoubt, and how does it differ from the above?
@AppleMak2010
@AppleMak2010 7 лет назад
Hi Greame. I can't speak for Mel, but the major difference is that a redoubt is a more permanent structure, built on clear principles of defense, including enfilading fire and strong delaying possibilities such as ditches, embankments, tunnels, trenches and so forth. The nadir of the redoubt was probably the 17th century, although they were still popular into Napoleonic times. Look up Vauban on line for more information about one of its most famous proponents.

Hi Mel, Terrific tutorial and the results are awesome, thank you. Thanks again for the tutorial. Elaine

depends, are you looking for an open grave? shallow? coffin in? different techniques for each mate

@elainetaylor6670 7 лет назад
TheTerrainTutor Thanks for the reply. Open grave, shallowish with a coffin inside would be what I was looking for. Elaine
@TheTerrainTutor
@TheTerrainTutor 7 лет назад
In that case, I'd build a lip up out of clay/putty, shape my grave so it was 10mm deep, and then just put a coffin lid in the bottom, covering it's edges with grit, it'll look like it's just been dug up or in the process of being buried
