really like these methods! i will say, making the bootleg starters evolve by friendship is a little op. you can raise a pokémon’s friendship pretty easily nowadays, so you could have a fully-evolved starter at like level 6. i was thinking maybe instead they evolve using some kind of stone that you can get around halfway through the game? then again, this isn’t my region, so i can’t tell you what to do.
I just love that there's an actual Caber Toss move. Honestly, it feels like a thing that should already exist in canon. Looking forward to the video about the custom evo items - the art for them is so clean. I love it.
I would personally change the evolution method for Palossand to Leaf Stone, since so far you don't seem to have/not have a lot of leaf stone evo's. I also think the Double Battle evolution is way to hard, because its way to situational and you literally cannot plan for it. Like, i do think the evolution method is unique enough to keep it, but why not make it so it having the move Double Team also works when its at a certain level (Which makes Double Team also get some usage, since most people ditch it after a certain time anyways because they don't see any use for it anymore).

It's not like Return lol It's a move *about* risk vs reward. Return is just reward based on friendship. Also, the risk of using it as a finisher is low so maybe be smart with it or just use a different move once you've evolved it lol
