Personally I thought the Walleyes were better but they are limited in availability.

I wish the F-16C could carry GBU-8s, I am not really a fan of the laser guided bombs

I'd still use the GBU-8 any day....AGM-65 can still be easily intercepted, the GBU-8 at least I can use to avoid engaging in a direct confrontation with a Pantsir...I just follow the radar return on my RWR or look for smoke trails less dangerous, and I'm helping teammates who are prioritizing the MBTs

@@marcuspinnock1383 I agree, you need to have good speed and high altitude to hit the enemy using laser-guided bombs. I did kill Pantsirs in the past using the F-14B, but it is still too risky and there is always a chance that you can break laser lock when performing evasive maneuvers.. GBU-8, the AGM-62 Walleyes, and the other GBU (Forgot the designation, but uses IR guidance) that doesn't require a continuous lock to work should be usable, particularly until they somehow find a way for JDAM-type bombs to be introduced into the game.

I did a couple of sorties with the new Mavs on the f16, and I feel like not much has changed. You still get screwed by the rng, and your best bet is to fire them from straight up into the top of the turret, but that leaves you very vulnerable to fire and forget spaa’s that can look straight up. It’s not like they perform similar to Russia’s counterparts from the su25, that would be too nice now, wouldn’t it?

@@brannonmeador1792 indeed you’re not. I feel like whay we saw in the dev server was tampered with quite a lot, and we ended up getting a mid ground that’s much closer to what we had before than what we saw in dev.

@@bpop2148 no, its so strong theres no counterpart to it in other nations, and stuff like the su25sm3 with its long range tv weapons can only be countrred by a pantsir... Too bad they are on the same team. Either balance the pantsir or the spaa of other nations so the game is balanved

@@izak.barnes Yeah true, also the ADATS is under “tank destroyer” so it costs a lot of SP…

@@scharrk i never said it wasnt.. too bad other nations also are starting to get f16s or the same cas weapons as the usa and russia wont be alone most of the time and russian cas is still very potent the su25s are good and the ka50/2 is annoying aswell and with the pantsir nato cas cant really reach

Lock the ground and fire, don't always wait for locking vehicles, sometimes you need to fire from long distance.

It was cumulative process, and I still edit them sometimes, for example I'm using "R" button to Sight Stab instead of RMB + F since two days, it takes time to get used to.
