That little jumpstart is extremely powerful. It can start a Ford F-150 without a battery. Starts it instantly. And if you hook it up backwards it just gives you a error, nothing blows up.
That Main Power Switch can turn off the flashlight and the USB charger port. But there always appears to be open circuit voltage at the blue EC5 terminals. The voltage also appears on the connected Smart Jumper Cable clamps but not at the plug on the Start Genie accessory. I connected a 100 ohm resistor to the terminals through the Smart Jumper Cable and it produced current for about 1-1/2 minutes then stopped. When you opened up the Smart Jumper cable there were some ICs in addition to the expected diodes, but it's my guess that the circuitry in the flashlight is shutting it down. After disconnecting it seems to reset itself as the voltage appears again (and the flashlight works- I don't think it's damaged).
@@bobspurloc I wanted a 12V source like on the GoPower Power Station GP-200. But they're now listed at $45 and are all out of stock in the 6 walmarts in my area.
