Let's Pack a Shoebox for a Boy age 10-14 y.o Ride the Waves Theme

I agree, Tiffany! I have been packing theme boxes for years. So, it just comes naturally to do that, and, sometimes I have to just stop, take a breath, and remind myself that it’s ok if I don’t have a matching shirt or coloring book or whatever. This box is packed full, fun, personal! And it’s inspirational for packing non themed boxes - lots of great ideas!

Ha ha... Yes, that's so true about themes. When I do a box with no theme I still find myself coordinating colors and matching up a few things. I think the 10-14 boy boxes (for me) wind up being the least themed. But it's just as good, I enjoy packing them both ways and love packing for this age group. I think boxes for them are so important. I love what you included for this boy! Loads of fun and great things for him. 🏎️⚽️

I pack a lot of shoeboxes and in the end I ended up with fewer themed for my 10-14 boys because I do my best to add a soccer ball in as many as I can. Thanks for your encouragement. Happy packing!

I have that same calendar and have used it! It’s so colorful! Great variety of items! He’ll love it! You did a wonderful job packing it back up on camera 😬. Nerve wracking right? 😂I packed a box tonight with some of the same items! 😂 I’m going to look for that bucket hat. I love it! Thanks for sharing! ❤

Isn’t that the truth about packing themed boxes!! They are so fun to pack, they are addictive, but you have done a fabulous job packing a great “no theme” shoebox gift for a 10-14-year-old boy. I love how you used the hot wheels collection box to pack all the little trinkets that would normally be rolling around in the bottom of the shoebox. Great job smashing all those last minute items into that go box 👍. You know, though, you could almost call this a hot wheels theme. I’ve always said you only need at least 3 items of the same subject matter to make it into a themed gift 😉😂

I tried so hard not to but you know how it is…I started with the Hotwheels box and then saw the cute coloring book and sticker book and then the hat…. LOL I really really had to fight the urge not to make this a themed box.

Love this box! Its got so much fun in it!!!! Im sure the young man that gets it will love it all with or without a theme lol! I would slip a few spare rubberbands in if you have them because the hotwheel launcher wont work if the one on it snaps and from my boys experience they do tend to snap with repeat play!

Super awesome box!!! I know that you said it's a box with no theme, but if you didn't I would defentlly assume it's a racing themed box XDD, with all the hot wheels items and several items that look like a checkered flag, including the soccer ball itself XD⚽🏁🏎🥇

It’s amazing what we can fit into those boxes. I do occasionally use bigger boxes, particularly if I feel lead to send hygiene pads to the 10-14 year old girls. Those take up so much room and I really want to send lots of fun!
