I like watching your videos through first before I paint them and it really helps me get it. You guys are so much fun to watch and it shows how much you all enjoy each other's company. Keep up the amazing work!

You two crack me up. I appreciate the tutorial, but I almost more enjoy the banter between you two! Thank you for sharing yourselves with us.

Half way through, I was convinced that mine would NEVER actually look like pinecones, but I kept going and it looked great! Trust the process indeed!

I LOVE this whole video. I think I'm a long tube girl myself, ha. But seriously, people who make insulting comments to you are just jealous of your skills and success. The success that you guys have all worked your buns off for. They are called trolls. Saying anything about their comments gives them a thrill and makes them happy because they manipulated you into feeling some type of way, positive or negative. They don't deserve the troll food.

I just love watching the process in this tutorial! Haven't gotten to paint lately so haven't tried it, but thanks for the reminder that it IS a process, and to keep going...

I agree with Diane andrews. What a powerful rendition of Disturbed’s ‘Sounds of Silence’ Thanks for the tutorial, Sarah.

Feeling unwell today so I just watched this while resting on the couch, but I want to try this one! I’ve practiced drawing and sketching Pine cones years ago and it was frustrating… this looks like a very pretty and a satisfying project! Thanks for your tutorials and kits I’ve learned a lot! And had fun!! 😊

Sarah and Kenan to ger the full effect of Disturbs version you have to see the video! I'm an original Simon and Garfunkel fan (only concert ive ever been to) but his version is haunting

Super helpful. Some more subtle points. I tried painting without this and threw the thing away…but I love the idea of pine cones…so will now try again!

I did laugh when, at 9:00 minutes, Keenan mentioned that colour would make a pretty shirt colour also! It happened to match Sarah's shirt pretty spot on from the looks of it!

Pinecones are not easy to paint, in my opinion. However, the way you explained and broke down your process was fantastic. And as always, you and Keenan are so cool!!!

The seeds actually grow between the scales. When they ripen, the pinecone opens to allow them to drop - or be eaten by birds and squirrels.
