Love watching your videos, really cool pedal interviews! Going to buy Nux mg400 multi pedal. Have you ever tried it before? If so, what is your thoughts.

Thanks so much for supporting my channel! Glad you enjoy my videos. 😊 Unfortunately, I haven't tried that particular unit. However, I have yet to try a bad Nu-X product, so I'm sure it's a very decent unit. 👍🏼

I have this pedal. It's pretty good; especially into a DOD250. I have also met the builder twice. He remembered me as the guy that `hated' his 1991 pedal (I didn't say I hated it, just that it had too much gain for an old blues guy like me, but didn't stop him ribbing me anyway 😁😄😃😀).

Where would you recommend to put it in a signal chain? Does it work better when used together with specific amps/pedals? I had mine for about three weeks now and I’m really struggling to get any decent tones out of it. So far, I’m rather disappointed and regret buying it…

Hey. I would recommend using it with a humbucker guitar, and before your other dirt pedals. As I said in the video, I think it's designed to work at its best into an already driven amp, but not everyone likes the same things, and what will sound good to one person, won't necessarily sound good to another. So don't worry if this particular pedal isn't for you. There are plenty other dirt options out there for you to explore!

I use in front of a clean amp and before any other drives. Try gain and tone around midway and volume just above unity. Of course, it may just not be the tone you're after.
