Wyte I've been watching you for awhile and I've noticed a drastic dip in views. I think it would benefit your channel heavily to post a less less and put more creative effort into your videos rather than putting out tons of full length videos out in a day. Quality over quantity some would say. I wanna see you succeed but I dont think keeping this upload routine is gonna help long term.
Aquaas, thank you for this message and for your concern for the channel as well as your support. It means a lot to me that you would reach out to me about this and I want to answer you in turn to explain what's going on. It's no secret that my channel stands on the shoulders of Portal Knights and the content I was able to create with that game; It's about all I did (more or less) for the 3 years I've been running the channel. When I got tired of that game I tried moving on to other games in a similar genre such as Minecraft, Terraria, Creativerse, etc. Although they are all great games in their own right, I simply wasn't enjoying them like I used to. When I started playing through Dragon Quest Builders 2, I realized just how much I appreciate and enjoy a linear story line. It's so refreshing to be taken on a journey instead of creatively paving my own. That's what really stirred up a desire to expand to these other games outside of the usual genre. Considering that the vast majority of my subscribers know me from Portal Knights, I expected there would be significant drops in viewership when I strayed from the game. I understand what you mean by putting more creative effort into my videos, but these other games I am honestly playing selfishly because I simply *want* to play them. The lack of intro/outro stems from my distaste for long, drawn out frill when all I want is to get to the content. Thank you again for your criticism. I have a backlog of games recorded already that I was planning on releasing daily (Bioshock, Portal, Ori and the Blind Forest) but I may consider just throwing them all up at once for anyone that might be interested in seeing them instead of blowing up everyone's notifications 5 times a day xD
A quick follow up here. Thank you again, Aquaas, for this message. Even after my prior response it has given me pause for thought and I am realizing now that the way I'm doing things is quite literally the opposite of how I SHOULD be doing them. I can still play these games I want to play and get through them relatively quickly by streaming those, and then spend my time creating (fewer but more creative/higher quality) videos for the other stuff like logic blocks and building tutorials, etc. Thanks again for your comment, it's really helped me process where and how I want the channel to move forward!
