In this Let's Play video, you will see me play the Bulwark: Falconeer Chronicles (Full Release). Thank you Tomas for the gamekey! I will be playing the Freehouse and giving you a full walkthrough on the gameplays. This game is an open world city builder on a water planet called Ursee. It has a Dune universe like vibe to it in many ways. The Resources Must Flow! Various factions exist in this world that you can interact with via trade or fight against. Bulwark is a very unique city builder that lets you expand outward (and upward) where ever you can place outposts/settlements. Explore and Interact with the world on your Airship (Surveyor) which allows you to place outposts, harbors, and extractors. The premise of this game and the world lore is very interesting. He is changing the maw to be non destructive next patch except stuff built inside the maw.

Question: I've attacked the mancers and conquered one base. But can't defeat their other bases. Can i send a fleet or something? And what's the goal in this first scenario? I dunno what to do anymore.

The Goal is just to get the Wonder for your main Aligned Faction. From there you could have your own personal goals of either wiping out the other factions or get everybody to all be happy and try to get Wonders of each of the other factions. Or just simply enjoy the world and build beautiful cities. It's a Sandbox game so there really isn't a goal per say. It's whatever you want to do. As for defeating the other bases, the more Commanders you recruit and put into command towers the more units you can add to your fleet. The taller the command tower the better the perk is (varies based on commander type) usually affects the smaller type units like the birds.

Excellent walkthrough. Appreciate you taking the time to go through the Help content to give me a better understanding of the game. What would you say is the replayability value for this game since you always start in the same places on the map regardless which difficulty you select and resources are always in the same place? Is this a play once and it's always the same experience each time you play?

Yea. I'd say replay value is maybe four times for each faction and start locations. Maybe five if you are into chill creative build kind of person

@@RonEmpire Thanks for the honest reply. I went out on the discussion board in Steam yesterday where someone had asked about making the map procedurally generated and the dev replied to that person and I replied directly to the dev that I supported the idea of procedurally generated maps. Having different starting locations, random mineral locations and different difficulty levels for each of the factions for each time you start a new game. This way, the game is always different each time you play. I think this would greatly improve replayability.

was you losing all your walkways at the end a bug?

apparently dev said it was 'intended' that the mawspring is a weapon that if you use it near a city it wipes all walkways.

Dev also said that it doesn't do anything else other than be a decoration piece. That you can build inside it. It can be used to expand the maw and reveal bases if mountains
