Hello there.
This video is a combination of three things. A let's play, a tutorial and my own personal set of tips and tricks. This video was made for new or potential players in mind. The former can learn the basics and tips and tricks, while the later can view the gameplay with some sort of context behind it.
Please provide me with some feedback and do not be afraid to ask questions which I can then answer in further videos.

Pretty interesting new category you are starting there. Let's Tutorial? Tutoriplay? Anyway I like it. Even for me, playing Disco for a longer time now there are still things I didn't know about. Looking forward to part 2.

great videos! i didnt play during 4.871 and im playing now with 4.875 and im wondering if you would update this strategy by using the freighter that you can buy on planet erie immediately? when i played locally with a friend we just both bought those right away since its cheap enough and it has 540 cargo space.

Then you just get to skip the fidling behind Manhattan and go straight for poking at NPC transports. Careful though, as shooting civilian traffic won't go unnoticed by the navy players.

Hi Sindroms, can you please tell me how to setupa a base? I was using the quick guide got all the things needed and the construction ship, but when i type in the command /base deploy nothing does happen. I play Discovery in Singleplayer.

What can i do when i don't can play on the internet. I have a old version on my computer version 2003 i have used the key number but it don't recognizes the number it is a original made by Microsoft game studios. The text i see when i fill it in is that it is a Unknown or expired key number.

Yo, so I don't get why you'd pick up the Camara rather than the sunburst (I think that's what it's called) on the planet wich is hell of a lot cheaper, and only a bit worse than the camara .

Hi Spazzy,I have a question for the single player sandbox mode. I read your reply for the commands in the ReadMe file but i went in the folder and read the file but didn't find any commands.Can you tell me some commands for beaming,adding cash and reputation or tell me how to find them in the ReadMe file i would appreciate it.Thank you.

can anyone help me? before i played 4.85 with some friends on lan and we used FLMM to edit the server so that it gave us 1.5 billion credits at the start to just screw around with. without the use of FLMM how do we do that now with 4.87?

Yeah. Whoever is hosting the server needs to add themselves as ingame admin. You do that by using the console that launches alongside the server launcher itself. setadmin charname superadmin That is the command line you need to enter into the console. After you do that, simply enter this line in the chat on the character you just made an admin: .setcash charname 1500000000

Yeah, I was. I wanted to redo the whole thing, but then again, when did everything go as planned for any of us? If that does not work, try something else. As for the length, dunno. Did not seem that long while I was recording it 8|

I got my freelancer CD yesterday and installed it along with the Discovery Freelancer 4.87 but I cannot get any any one to talk like in the bar or space and the mod dose not want to play right I can not get the ID code to play on line as well can soome one please help me I want to play yhise game very much Thank you very much..

I had the same problem with mine the other day i had to uninstall the hole thing and than reinstall it again but this time i didn't change the path i let it pick the the path and it worked for me after that.

Yes there is, but it classifies as a sandbox. Since Disco is made with online and player interaction in mind, the so called "Open singleplayer" is mostly used for ship and loadout testing purposes.

So, there's no way to play single player with this mod? That, kind of sucks to be honest. I don't care for multiplayer (I don't like online play and not being able to play however I want), but this mod looks great with everything it adds. However, I guess I'll have to search for something else. Is there a way to play the open world single player here? I know the lack of single player is due to campaign issues, so can that be skipped and go to sandbox mode?

Yes, if you click New Game, it will throw you into a sandbox singleplayer world. You can add money and teleport your ship around to set it up as you see fit, the commands are in the Discovery readme file, which can be found in the installation thread. However, make no mistake, the mod was intended to be used in multiplayer, so expect your singleplayer experience to be lacking.

Sindroms, Discovery Freelancer That really makes me happy. :) I'm sure it's great with multiplayer, but I've just never cared for multiplayer. I tend to be perfectly happy with the single player aspect.
