Congratz on finishing the event story and obtaining the cool Tametomo. I don't have anything to say, but here's the comment from the scenario writer for this event: "The new unit Kyokutei Bakin is one Servant containing many characters thanks to its multiple personhoods and the inclusion of 8 Dog Warriors, making them the unit with the largest pack of sprites. I can’t thank TAKOLEGS enough for accepting this job without complaint. For the event story, I thought a good way to debut Kyokutei Bakin and Chinsei Hachirou Minamoto - no -Tametomo would be preluding the proper Summer Event with a more casual trip to tropical islands. The princess walks her dogs through the pristine white beach… and has a romantic encounter with the gigantic and unrefined mechanical warrior… That was the kick-off idea for it, but as I put it to paper, I ended up with something far more tense and action-packed. That must be because of the passion I held for the two Servants this event is centered around. I enjoyed writing the all-star parade of Chaldea Archers. IIRC the psuedosingularity Shimousa was labelled a Psuedo-parallel world? I think it was something about Douman figuring out how fantasy trees work to do the whole Heian-Kyo thing later, but i could just be fully wrong.

1:49:30 The theming here is immaculate, if you remember Fujimaru said something reminiscent at the ending of the Case Files side-story: "I squint against the bright light that guides me. All so that one day look back on this dream and laugh about it." At first I thought it was a cop-out that they didn't let Fujimaru respond to Bakin, but we already know of the grief Bakin espouses and he's had the opportunity on multiple occasions and has never "bowed before the Grail". It mirrors his regrets about both Romani and Olga. He's taking steps to get Olga back but has ultimately accepted that Romani is gone and finally resting.

On rewatch the story still doesnt quite makes sense to me, Why did Tametomo needed to attack Chaldea exactly?

Yeah I (and others I know) kinda struggled with how...busy the event's finale became upon us actually meeting Tametomo. They could have definitely made a point on properly stating out WHY Bakin had Tametomo attack Chaldea (which if I'm right is basically Bakin wants to revive son using the Singularity > Chaldea destroys Singularities > Bakin wants to preemptively keep Chaldea from destroying the Singularity and took the nuclear option instead of negotiating). More properly fleshing out Bakin's feelings in regards to his son also would have helped, at least one more conversation on the subject would have helped... But yeah, it doesn't take away TOO much from how fun the beginning and middle of the event was. Sad they didn't land the finale but it is what it is.
