They should do some sort of murder mystery Let's Play for Minecraft. They turn off names and randomly skins so no one knows who's who. One person is the murderer and has to kill each player in the mansion (use lava or flint and steel) and the others have to figure out who it is.

Seeing as the Xbox One version of Minecraft releases in 11 days, I think we all know what should be made... WIPEOUT X

i think they should have turned off their gamer-tags so they wouldn't show up. and remove themselves off the map to make it way more tough

Storm the Tower X: AH vs Funhaus

That was not fair! The gents were just camping like so: 1. Jack was guarding the tower 1 block away for 3/4 of the lets play 2. Geoff by the only way up to the tower 3. All of them just standing over someone. The main unfair ness of the video: 1. Lads don't have armour but the gents do. Should be the other ways round. 2. Gents had more bows and arrows than the lads 3. Gents had more food than the lads 4. The camping 5. Gents getting someone else to make the tower. 6. Lads had too little pickaxes. 7. Traps too OP to have a fair fight. 8. The gents had too many defences. 9. The house for the people storming the tower is too far away. The only way the lads could have got the tower would be if all the gents just stood still! I like the minecraft let's plays they do but they must of thought this would be as popular as CTT or CTTX. But it is not. The first AH minecraft let's play I don't like.

Why didn't they turn off name tags for this?

The Lads could have won in the first 12 Minutes, no-one noticed Michael reach the top until he punched Jack off, if he just silently mined the tower they'd of won it there and then.

This was horribly one sided. 1. The attackers weren't given any armor (which invaders would normaly have for protection) 2. They weren't given a weapon (pickaxes aren't weapons. They're mining tools. They also can't get crits. They do the same damage, but it still isn't balanced.) 3. The attackers weren't given enough supplies, leading to their doom two-thirds of the way through. 4. The name tags pretty much give the defenders x-ray vision, seeing where the attackers are comming from. That's not a problem for the defenders, because they always stay in one place. (And crouching limits the attackers manuverability and speed.) 5. The defenders were "Puppy guarding," a common term in elementary when playing capture the flag. This problem wouldn't even be that bad if the game was more balanced. And I'm not saying these things just to defend the Lads loss. I would have the same problems if the Gents were the ones storming the tower.

So, next time Gavin will without a doubt: - Drop an anvil on himself. - Drop an anvil on Michael and/or Ray. - Set off most traps in the tower by himself. - Get killed by Blaze and Zombies. - Use water in a way that gives the Gents an advantage. - Die at least 5 times when one of the Gents are on the top of the tower stealing blocks. - Be so stupid as to let the Gents steal the Tower of Pimps without any problems. - Make Michael rage. - Get kicked off Team Lads (again). - Make weird noises. - Get violated by Ryan. I'm going to make this into a tally chart because most of these things will happen more than once.

Was a good watch. A few things I recommend: 1. No name tags. 2. Equipment to battle only the mobs that spawn. 3. There shouldn't be obsidian. 4. Everything is mineable. That means they can break traps too. 5. Attackers can use any items that the defenders drop.

Can we talk about how Ray dodged that falling anvil while on vines? That was so hype!

The commentary was very entertaining but just like with Geoffs tower, the game was stacked heavily in the defending teams favor. It would be more fun if Jack wasnt just camping near the tower. Every time someone managed to get up there, Jack would tattle. Plus Lads cant break the spawners but Gents can rebuild the towers. No weapons, no armor and no knowledge of the tower. Im amazed they even managed to get one quite frankly. Gents probably won't fare any better. One way to even this out a little would be to make the fortress wider but single story. Take gravity out of the equation and it should even up considerably I think.

at the very least in an attack like this, the attackers should have better weapons. But anyway, Geoff said the attackers weren't allowed to intentionally break any of the circuits or dispensers in the tower. But he never said anything about looting them. I would have taken a bunch of those Blaze eggs and started chucking them up onto the roof. Let the defenders deal with those

Only problem i had with this was Jack. I mean, listen to this irony. Last Of Us Lets play Part 2: Jack: "Yea guys, Gavins camping their safe" This lets play all Jack did was camp at the tower.

I want to see them do this again, only switch sides. Don't balance ANYTHING, keep the same utterly broken system.

The "x" version of this should have 2 towers, where lads and gents must play offense and defense at the same time. That would add more strategy to the game.

Though it was unbalanced, this Let's Play was super funny. As someone who's been a fan long before MineCraft started, this is one of my favorites. Super funny.

For all those complaining it wasn't that unbalanced, Ryan was literally playing another video game while filming this one. The Lads should have gotten armor or swords to have had some chance.

Watching this for a second time and I do like the idea behind the Let's Play, the teams are just really unbalanced. Giving armour to the Attackers would have also made this slightly more fair, even if it wasn't as good as chain. Name tags should have been turned off to avoid the Defenders from being able to prevent Attackers from climbing up and scaling the outerwall. Overall though, the concept behind this was good, the execution, not so much. Would be interesting to see a second version to this Let's Play, just tweaked so that the Attackers aren't doomed from the start. I don't mind advantages, just not too the point where they don't stand much chance of winning.

This was pretty entertaining! But honestly it would have been more fun if it was more balanced, half of the video is the defenders just standing around waiting because they didn't really have to try. The next part will probably be the same.

A bunch of people are complaining about this video, as this fan base always seems to complain about every little detail, but I personally found this Let's Play fun and entertaining. I also thought it was a pretty creative idea. My only objection is that the gents did have a bit of the upper hand, but if the lads just got a few more supplies and turned off their names, that would be solved. Still, great let's play, regardless of the difficulty.

Instead of just complaining about how unbalanced it is, I am going to be constructive and actually give a method to balance it out. The armor the defenders wear is to much of an advantage, making them able to win any fight 1v1 (as long as they dont such). How about no armor or evening out the amount of armor for both teams. Usually I dont ask this but pls like this so they can see and make Storm The Tower X better.

That was pretty big time BS. The nametags gave away locations, and the Gents had both swords and armor and the Lads ran out of supplies. Not to mention the overkill of defenses. That game was impossible to win.

if they ever have a rematch this should happen: 1. The lads should get more pickaxes and vines, some kind of sword, and some kind of armor. 2. The gents shouldn't put as many mobs in the tower. 3. The lads should be able to go all the way around the tower.

The fact that this video is over an hour long made it obvious that the gents were going to win from the minute they set an HOUR LONG TIMER -_-

People don't seem to understand that if your trying to storm a castle, ITS GOING TO BE FUCKING HARD. It's not meant for you to just walk in and kill everyone and steal the treasure.

Personally, I thought this LPM was really funny. AND THAT'S ALL THAT MATTERS.

The idea here - 10/5. The execution of said idea here - 5/10. Feel bad for the lads to play this. What's the point of a PvP match where one side can kill the other side but not the other way around? I get one should be more powerful than the other.. but like.. give the attackers some chain armor and an iron sword and make the defenders have iron armor or something. That alone would've made this more entertaining because fights wouldn't be always won by the defender. Even heard Michael say at the end there that it sucks that they can't fight them at all. An iron sword against no armor is death in 2 ish blows. That's not fun for anyone. Ah well, Good video tho! :D

The only thing unfair about this in my opinion is the fact that the gents now have made strategies based upon what the lads did. They know what will work and what won't

This was good and they should revisit it. A few tweaks though: give the attackers more of a chance in a fight or give more of a penalty if the defenders die

When they have time they should make a Team Lads and Team Gents clubhouse so whenever there's a team let's play the tower can go next to the clubhouse.

"Storm The Tower X" could be the AH Crew (except Ryan) storming the tower against the Mad King and Kerry, and they have to rescue Edgar.

You know, I bet it'll be a real funny coincidence when they decide to replay this with the gents as the attackers, and the rules will have conveniently changed in the favor of the gents...

I love when they put a lot of effort into the Minecraft Let's Plays like this. Its beautiful. I'm surprised they didn't just mine the bottom and then build a staircase all the way to the top guns blazing.

This is probably on my list of favorite lets plays. (especially Gavin trying so hard to kill the silverfish and then he gets bunted. Priceless!)

I love the concept and design of this Let's Play. However, for a more authentic and tense experience, I think it should be played with name-tags off as well as allow the attackers to destroy the inner machinery. Otherwise it's too easy to defend when you know where they are before they are even halfway up the tower. And then on the inner approach, they aren't able to ever go back through after the first rush.

Is it possible to turn only certain peoples names off over their heads? If so, they should turn the names off for those teams storming the tower, thus making it more challenging for the people defending and making it easier for the stormers to get in stealthily

To be honest they should have made larger penalties for the defenders dying, i.e. A lesser armor or lesser weapons. Or make the spawn point farther away seems a little unfair that the defenders can respond right next to the point they have to defend

The people attacking should be the ones getting armour and swords not the people defending. The people defending already have a massive tower with defences everywhere they don't need better armour and weapons as well.

This was pretty much a foregone conclusion. The Gents would have to completely shit the bed to NOT win this one. They had advantage in terrain, fortification, materials, weapons, and armor, along with numerical parity with the attackers.

This channel towers over most let's players.

When they do Storm the Tower X they should let the lads and gents build their own traps and puzzles in their defending tower

I've pretty much lost faith in this community for showing me just how mean they are to the AH crew. I say to keep doing the great FREE videos that drains most of your day just to make us happy even if there's small errors here and there. The AH crew are some of the best youtubers imo because they always put a smile on my face :)

I just want to come down to the comments of a Minecraft Let's Play for once and not see every comment be a complaint/argument about the video, or one of the crewmembers, or about people complaining about those things. It was fun to watch if a bit long and unfair. Honestly if they removed the chainmail armour it would be alot more balanced because the attackers could win a 1v1 fight with the defenders that way. Really loved the TNT explosions on the ground and the rain of arrows and the ruins, made it feel and look like a real battlefield. Blazes are OP pls remove.

This video would've been a lot better if it had actually been balanced.

Cool Let's Play this week guys! The first 20 minutes of watching Michael, Gavin, and Ray storm the tower was awesome. The traps that were built into the tower were extremely innovative. I bet Matt and Jeremy made themselves sick building something so complex. Then again they've built things more grandiose so maybe this was more of a cakewalk. All the same hats off to them! They've earned their place as members of Roosterteeth. I don't think the tower is unconquerable. It's difficult but doable. The lads ended up exhausting all of their supplies and kept using the same tricks and pathways over and over again. The Gents caught on to all their tactics and adapted to their advances. It's unfair to grumble about Jack staying up top and guarding the tower. Especially when the mission is to defend the tower. Of course someone is going to need to be watching the tower like a hawk. Jack did his job and he did it well. Jack is dependable. Finally, this first episode of Storm the Tower was basically a test run. The lads had no idea what they would be going up against and didn't have the preparations for a tactical assault. So basically they had to throw their bodies at the tower and see what the tower had to offer. The results were hilarious! The gents should be a bit more prepared and I'm interested to see if they can succeed. I have a feeling that Ryan will come up with something pretty crafty to tackle the tower.

Storm the Tower X: four on four teams, add onto the tower height, gamertags off, a ladder passage that puts a slight delay on Defender respawning, limited invisibility and fire resistance potions for the Attackers, use of any claimed gear, and add a more dangerous "nether" shortcut with hidden portals in the tower. Just a thought. This was fun but a little unbalanced due to how quickly the Defenders could respawn and reach the top of the tower, as well as with how defenseless the Attackers were once they reached the top.

I really liked this Let's Play. I don't understand why there are as many dislikes as there are. Sure it was unbalanced, but it was still really fun to watch and to imagine all of the work that went into this. I don't feel like it has to be balanced, we're watching a full on competitive match, we're watching the Achievement Hunters fuck around in Minecraft. I'm pretty sure it is supposed to be unbalanced, they're trying to storm a fully defended tower, they're not playing a fucking match of Counter Strike. The only complaint I have is that they should lower the amount of mobs, definitely would make the game run better, especially on the aged hardware that is the Xbox 360. I guess there are just too many butthurt people out there who only want to see the Lads win.
